I address you in the whiteness of the glory of God which you have made your own. You have worn it upon your bodies, not merely as a uniform for uniformity but for the one form of the living Word.
You have worn His whiteness as the undergarment of humility. You have worn the whiteness of the Mother in your heart as a badge of constancy and a source, a magnet to draw down the life of God, to produce what you have determined to produce. Therefore, in the name of the World Teachers, I, Serapis, may once again, representing the Great White Brotherhood, address the student body of Montessori International.
You have retrieved a light that was momentarily lost. You have raised it up, not uniformly but individually as one. You have brought forth in the one a clear image of Christ. Now, let it not be blurred. Let none step out of the white fire core to test a step that is not in time.
A matrix is presented and it is by your will. For any one of you could have easily left the ranks and said, "I will no more walk at Camelot, for it is too hard." You cared for something more than yourselves. While others sleep, while others have slept, you have worked to fulfill the image of Abraham Lincoln and so many others throughout history who have been the lone figure. And when all the world would move against the image of Christ, they stood alone.
Now, what do you represent to me, my hearts of light? You show the transition into Aquarius where never again (for it need not be) should one anointed one stand alone. For you have shown the unity of one and the strength of the one Christ that is fed by the tributaries of your hearts together.
The world may see a few or many students marching, but I see one blazing Manchild. I see the One above you who is the Person of Christ. One - the One embodied in the many, the One who has become the infinity.1
I see the Christ Presence who will speak through your hearts. And I come with the comfort that I give to my own disciples at Luxor when they have fought the good fight and won. And it is this, dear heart. In the very space of the rest of re-creation, know that there is the filling of the vacuum of cessation of activity with the golden light of the hidden man of the heart.2 Be seated now as I speak of him.
I speak to all warriors of the Spirit, as to you personally, that when you come to the end of a labor so accelerated as requiring the all and every drop of self and the moment of rest, the moment when activity ceases, all of a sudden upon you there comes the silence of heaven, of the sealed room in your heart where the image of the golden man is, where his heartbeat is the sound that defines the spirals of infinity.
No longer do you watch the clock, as Watchers do, counting the hours "till death do us part." You now are cycling the course of your life by the heart of God that beats in your breast, that quickens as you strive and as you give, and that subsides in the descent of the sine wave.
Hour by hour the wave is mounted, the crest is experienced, and then the release in performance of this new wave of light - this that is pumped from the very heart of your I AM Presence to fulfill your own will of determination. Why, you have experienced almost that extraordinary strength that is given when the individual determines to perform the impossible task on behalf of his fellows.
Now there is a pause. It is for the entering in to the secret chamber of your heart where you dwell. There you go to be loved in the arms of your beloved Christ Self. There you go to rest. And when you place your bodies to sleep, there is the journey, not to the active temples but to the abode of the Buddha where there is meditation and peace and a new experiencing of drawing in the inbreath of Life. You have spent all that you are, and in the inbreath is come the newness of Self. You actually breathe in the image of the golden man of your heart. You breathe in the Person of Christ!
Understand this mystery that I reveal for the first time. It explains the requirement of the expenditure of oneself that is called sacrifice ... but it is not. In this spending of oneself, you see, there is created an absence of self because you have allowed yourself to flow into God's project. And therefore, as the return comes, the return is the entering of the Real Self. This is the meaning of the statement to be formed and re-formed in Christ.3
The fiery Electronic Presence of your Christ Self occupies because by law you have given all the Christ that you are. All that you know how to do and be and love and deliver in the will of God, you have given. Therefore, you have earned the right to be present in the perfect Self, to be drawn up into it, to mesh with it, to find yourself when you awaken in the morning after the long night's rest, that truly you are something more than you were the day before the victory. You are something more, and I am here to tell you what more is!
More is the Christ in your temple and your recognition of yourself with that Christ, as that Christ. For in the giving of self, the soul has become transparent. Is it not true when we give all, the very fact of being spent makes us lose the sense of self? And therefore, when we see that self anew and we look and see the glimmer of the Shining One, we can say:
"Because I have triumphed to the glory of God, the glory of the LORD is upon me! The glory of the LORD is upon me, and I will live to serve him all of my life! And because I have overcome this day, I will overcome tomorrow. And tomorrow and tomorrow. When I take on the next challenge of life, I will take it on with confidence. For I know he lives in me because I am worthy! He made me worthy. I accepted my worthiness. I made myself worthy by fighting to the finish in his name. I have endured! And he has promised the crown of Life to those who endure to the end of each cycle of each day."4
Each day there is a crowning moment. It comes at inner levels at the midnight hour when you have placed your bodies to rest before that hour. The crown of enduring to the end in God-harmony - like a child receives a gold star or a silver star or a green or a blue or a red, signifying each separate quality of accomplishment, each grade of excellence. So the angels come.
Today you need not conquer all of your life - only this one day! And when the twelve-point of the hour strikes again, hour by hour, you must remember that the hour is infinity. You need not conquer except that hour. Be victors of the hours and of the day, and see how one good day begets another! One victory and the taste of its joy incites the desire for another joyous victory, like one inbreath of the runner taking in with all of his lungs the prana of life begets the desire for another breath and another breath. And so, my beloved, you expand your capacity for life, for experiencing love and victory, each time you triumph.
Let the mediocre ones who tire of labor, let the serpents point the finger and point their pity. It has no power over you! I declare it. They have no path in God or with me! They weary in the work of the LORD, and they condemn it in others. They do not see the great life of God being born. They are not renewed in their courses in the strength of the LORD. Therefore, they fear death constantly, should they exert themselves. And the only fear of the son of God is the fear that perhaps he should be tempted not to exert himself to the fullest, for he knows that step by step the way is won by this giving of self.
O troubled one, let not your heart be troubled. For trouble and the grumbling over troubles must surely be because you think that all of the world's problems must be solved this very day. And when you demand it of the cosmos, the cosmos will not answer you; for cosmos knows that God has already solved every problem of the whole world, and he has set the mind of Christ for the cycling forth of the resolution.
Yours it is not to solve problems, but to mount the spiral of the original problem-solver, the Cosmic Christ, and simply be in attunement with that mind that always knows everything to do and to say and to be, and to know to be active when it is time to be active and to know to be still when it is space for stillness.
Listen, then. Problems will appear regularly like specters out of the astral deep in your life. They will parade across the screen of your mind, tempting you to become anxious and worrisome and burdened. But, you see, God has already placed the image of the golden man of the heart across the very same screen. And these specters, by the magnet of Christ, are in the process of dissolution if you will only let them go and be dissolved! But if you energize them with your worrisomeness, they will be activated by a surge of energy which you release in states of emotional turmoil and disturbance.
I said, God has already solved every problem that will appear in your entire life! And every problem is karma - yours or another's that you allow to get in your way. God has foreknown from the beginning the cycles of your karma, for he is the Lawgiver and the Lawtaker. Therefore, know there is a Christ. He liveth! He is the One Sent.5
There is the Word. There is Maitreya. There is every ascended master you can name. But the most important name that you can name is your own! Therefore, name it and cry it out in this hour!
I wish to hear your name! [Congregants declare their names.]
That is the most important name you can pronounce, for to claim it as your own is to claim your opportunity to be Christ. The most important Christ that can become where you are is your Christ, you see. For you really cannot ultimately benefit from another's awareness and amazing self-mastery through that Christ.
Now, they have taught you to believe that Jesus is the most important Christ. And sometimes you have believed that Saint Germain or Gautama Buddha or Maitreya or even Sanat Kumara is the most important Christ. When this lie of nonrecognition of God within came along, there also came along the great teacher Gautama, who taught self-definition of Christhood and therefore has been condemned ever since by those indoctrinated with the orthodoxy of Rome and other materialistic ones.
See then, the God that is important is the God where you are. And because you are so trained to believe that Jesus is the one who is important, you forget to guard the Christ where you are.
Jesus is compassionate. When you call him, he answers. But his answer is always the activation of Christ in you! Did you know that, beloved hearts? When Christians pray to him, he acts out of compassion to accelerate, by his own light, their self-awareness of Christ. And many have seen the vision of Christ and they have said, "I am well because Jesus did this to me," when in reality they are well because Jesus connected the soul of their being to their own Christ Self. And in the moment of their receipt of the light, every one has known and understood in the heart the relationship of the Christ Self.
But the moment that the soul is once again impounded by the mental body, and the mental body has the regimentation of the doctrine of "Jesus Christ, the only Son of God," instantly the outer mind makes the transfer and gives credit to him and therefore loses the awareness: Christ in me, the same yesterday and today and forever!6 It is because he taught me that God lives in me as his Son that I can do and be and move and think and breathe and leap and run and jump to the stars and love as I have never loved before!
Do you see how the programming of the outer mind so easily cancels out what is taught to the soul in the retreats of the Brotherhood at night or what is in the very subconscious itself?
You must realize that the programmed mental body is a tyrant, is a hard taskmaster, holding down the soul that would breathe the air of freedom. This is why you are here, this is why I am here, this is why the avatars have come - to break that hold of a mental body reinforced by the computers of the fallen angels who have determined to make the soul the prisoner of the mind of the person.
As soon as you were taught by your mother, by your father, by the messengers the true teachings of the Path, you were liberated from this programmed entity, this mental body! The fallen ones no longer had any hold over you, and therefore they had to resort to chicanery, trick! They would come to fool you with their entities and demons. And they would fool you through your own desire body. For when you desire that which ought not to be, then, you see, you fall into the mudhole and it is difficult to get out.
Have you ever seen a hippopotamus waddle out of a mudhole? Well, that is how some of you look coming out of your own mudholes. Perish the thought, for that is the electronic belt with all of its convulsive and repulsive thought forms.
You are the living Christ. I come to show you how the living teaching, spoken to the waking consciousness and the conscious mind illumined by Christ, changes the whole world, the whole world of your being! Therefore, without the teacher, without the teaching, there cannot be healing, there cannot be the return to one's true Self.
Without the teaching being spoken as the Word going forth twenty-four hours a day somewhere on this planetary body, there is not a confirmation of the Word. And unless the Word be confirmed and spoken, there will not be the drowning out of the many words of the serpents who love to talk and talk and talk. And they never stop talking and they never stop burdening you with their endless stories, until you wonder where is that endless source of energy they use - until you look at their tails and realize that their energy is in their long, long, long tails.
Dear hearts, they have become all tail and nothing else! Why, a serpent is a tail with a head on it! And it is a tall tale at that, for they are always telling lies and lies and lies, you see, until you can no longer stand to even hear their tin-box voices! Why, they sound like computers that learned to talk some time ago, and no one ever decided to simply turn off the switch and put them away.
The sacred fire will consume - and their tail and their shiny heads and their beady eyes. But remember, blessed ones, that when they appear to you, they are always disguised. They do not come in reptilian form, although they are sinuous and sensuous whatever form they wear. The lie itself is an abuse of the sine wave of Alpha and Omega. But then, you have gotten the victory over the beast! How can you fail? There is only one way, and so I tell you my tale:
You can fail if you let go of the hand of the golden man of the heart, if you let go of love and forget your reason for winning and your reason for winning again. If you forget to look up to heaven before you bless and serve and heal all life, you may fail. And if you do not watch the earth - every footstep, where you carefully place it - you may fall into the trap, you may not notice the subtle plots along the way.
There is only one person in the universe who can fail. It is you. There is only one person in the universe who can become the Christ. It is you. Gautama Buddha taught there is no one else but you in your universe. It's all up to you. No one can make you fail. No one can make you become the Christ!
Remember that I, Serapis, have come from Luxor to speak individually and personally to every child in Montessori International. May you rise to the level of the ordained attainment of this, your hour of victory.

Now I would address you, students of Summit University. Please be seated in the seat of your own authority.
Keeping the flame of the Mother has been the call of Kuan Yin, of Lanello, of Elohim and masters who remain the nameless ones, sponsoring masters, Cosmic Christs. You, as students, have gathered. The staff have made themselves pillars in the temple. The wave of light has washed away a few and brought some new and fervent hearts to take the place of those who do not quite seem to understand that there is a moment in every cycle of completion when all you can do and all you are required to do is to hang on, for the wave of light comes to seal your victory, and then the new cycle begins.
Fourteen months of preparation for our release, as we are instruments of Alpha and Omega and of suns beyond suns beyond suns. From the white fire core of the earth to the Great Central Sun, spheres of light form a chain of beauty, a chain of hierarchy! And each sun center is for the stepping-down of that light for which you who are here and you who keep the flame of the Great White Brotherhood are ready to receive, for which you have stood, for which you have given, for which you have lived in that point of victory and in that point of service.
By the Word of Alpha and Omega, by the majesty of light, by the edict of Almighty God, I, Serapis, announce the release in this moment of the violet sphere of the Great Causal Body amplified by the white fire of the Mother, worlds without end.7 This initiation of the Mother flame multiplying the alchemy of your Christhood is for the freedom of this world and many others.
Come forth, O legions of white fire! Come forth, legions of the violet flame! Hold then, hold the current of mighty light! Hold it as it descends and as it amplifies in the heart of the earth! Let there be the guarding of white-fire purity and the flame of freedom, that the invincible matrix of truth be outpictured.
O Alpha and Omega, Father/Mother God, we call thee forth. We affirm thy Word. We stand, therefore, with the ascended and unascended masters and their chelas of the Great White Brotherhood to hold the balance for this accelerating outpouring of light, that the light-bearers might receive their initiations upon earth and hold the light against the day of cataclysm, against the day of their own returning karma and the chemical action and reaction of the light descending into darkness.
Therefore we seal, in the name I AM THAT I AM, the light and the preponderance of this light in the strong hearts, the fortified hearts, the strengthened ones who have seen what discipline it takes to keep the flame of Mother. Everywhere on earth, from the infant to the one whose next step will be into a higher octave, we seal the light in the hearts of the strong and the true. And where there are not enough or none at all, we seal the light in their own Christ Self.
I AM that victory that binds the consciousness that would preempt the flame and the dictation and the release and the light of God! I AM the binding of that consciousness that has sought to control the messenger of God for aeons upon aeons! I AM the rolling back and the overflowing, by the fire of white in the very heart of the messenger, of all that encroaches upon that office and will not allow it to therefore perform the work of the age!
This is the freedom flame that liberates first and foremost the Word incarnate and the One Sent, that liberates the ascended masters to speak with their own chelas, that liberates their chelas to speak with them. Therefore, anticipate the transmutation of barriers between the soul and the Word. Anticipate, then, the light which descends! For, lo, the Elohim shatter now! shatter now! shatter now! that black grid and circle of darkness that would stand between thee and the light of your own Mighty I AM Presence and the release of the violet flame.
You begin, then, the first month of fourteen. In this very hour, you begin to experience the initiation of the condemnation to death of the Christed One that bears the flame of freedom in the name of the Brotherhood of Luxor, in the name of the Mother of the World, in the name of Omega, as Omega on earth in the Matter universe is the presence of Alpha in heaven in the Spirit universe.
Understand all these things, precious hearts. The fourteen stations of the cross, which you must understand before you leave Camelot, is a teaching that is accurate concerning the day-by-day path of the disciples of Mother Mary. All who follow Jesus and Gautama follow the Mother, for they are the supreme devotees of the Mother.
The earth is sealed in a violet-flame aura. And it is an incitement to the wicked, for the sons of God go free before their very noses and their looking down upon them. And they look how quickly they might seize this energy and turn this freedom into their own devices to move quickly to seize that freedom as it flows through the governments and the economies of the nations.
The fourteen-month spiral has begun. Apply your hearts now to it with all diligence. For by the alchemy teachings of Saint Germain, you see, this flame of freedom, amplified by the white fire core of Alpha and Omega, can remove the miscreations of many of your cycles and precipitations, can transmute the debris so that all unfinished spirals can be completed. It is a fourteen-month period of building in the inner flame, of building the Inner Retreat and a new life.
The violet flame is the active presence of the person of Saint Germain in your midst. The white flame is the active presence of the Chohan of the Fourth Ray, whose office I hold. Therefore realize, when you invoke a flame, the Lord of that ray is always there. You cannot invoke the white fire without receiving my presence instantaneously. The simple mantra to the violet flame, and Saint Germain is there!
We are more than genie; we are geniuses of the Spirit. And we know how to place ourselves vis-a-vis your own Christ Self and soul and to manifest with you the victory of your goal that becomes our own as it is your own. And as you lay your victory upon the altar of God and give to his glory, so we lay upon your hearts our own. And this is the weaving of a mighty caduceus of Life. This is the action of the sacred fire!
Roll back, therefore! roll back, therefore! roll back, therefore, the cause and core of all interference to our coming and to our teaching and to our Word! For I must stay and teach you, that you will realize that in the very presence of anti-Self, there is the Christed One appearing! Why, it is not enough simply to be. One must be overcomers of that which is the anti-Beness of thy Self.
Realize, then, though light pulsate within you, the challenge of each day is to amplify that flame, to rise up in your temple, to overflow it, and then to overthrow that force of serpent eye and mind that would take from you your victory, else program your mind to a lesser manifestation.
Do you see, beloved hearts, I am speaking to you, to the measure of determination of Christ in you. And that measure has not reached its fullness until it come forth and bind the opposition that so wearies you from day to day.
If the opposition be present, it is because you identify with it more than you identify with the determination of your Christ Self to subdue it, to devour it, to displace it, to roll it back! Ah, the victory of peace, the victory of harmony established when no longer is the pressing in of the fallen ones a kind of energy that would make you think you would like to be in another universe.
There is no place like home! There is no other universe to be in but this one, because here are the most Christs enslaved by Antichrist. Here is where the fallen ones have gotten the hold on life.
This is why we stay! Why, do you not think that we do not also have other places that we might go? We are not tempted. The grass is greener right here. The oceans are more beautiful - the crystal sea of etheric plane, a golden age descending into manifestation, wending its way into your very heart!
Why, to us the very beauty of earth is in the moment-by-moment recognition of every living soul of the next and the next and the next potential. Ours is the joy of watching the heart discover that it can be something more in God, the shedding of the tear, the welling up with love, the joy incomparable of each glistening dewdrop's victory over death. This means more to us than worlds beyond worlds of perfection.
Ah yes, we come and go. We take our leave to the mountains of Sirius, but quite infrequently and only when our own reinforcements come and vow to keep the flame in our stead. The earth is in a very delicate balance of power, and every shift of the cosmic cycle must find chelas alert and understanding of how the suddenness of the change, even though it come with a certain gradual manifestation, yet affects the individual who has no attunement with cosmic cycles.
His word "Feed them. Give them to eat!"8 is translated in the Aquarian age as "Keep the flame! Keep the flame of Life!" The only way to teach and preach and feed and do all these things for the multitude is to go and find a retreat and establish a flame and build it, and call for reinforcements and angels, and place the electronic fire rings about the central altar and minister to a flame that will then rekindle a planet.
The spiritual foundation and the source of our movement is established in the Inner Retreat through the heart of Gautama Buddha. From that source and that high mountain, the waters flow and you are confident that wherever you go from the Heart of the Inner Retreat, you can conquer. For you yourself are the nourished, even as you are the nourisher of Life. You yourself have the flaming heart reproduced by that image of the Buddha within you.
When the foundation is secured, you will never feel away from home. You will always know you are extensions of the City Foursquare that you shall have built. How wonderful it is to go there and to experience the etheric plane in full waking consciousness in this life, in this hour - to go into the pines, to rise with the rising mountain, to be inundated with the prana and the spiritual currents.
Thus, by contemplation of the highest mountains and the spiritual presence of the Brotherhood of the Royal Teton, you can have a sense of commeasurement with the etheric octave where you so freely journey apart from your physical bodies. When this consciousness and this awareness understands the meaning of the etheric plane, you will have, my beloved, the capacity to draw down the kingdom of heaven.
Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven - the command will be fulfilled by you! You will draw down a golden age! You will be the magnet of the golden man of the heart! You will be the sacred fire that impels ascension's currents to flow once again out of the etheric octave into the very valleys of the earth, into her streams, and under the earth for the holding of the balance for those lifewaves that are evolving, even nigh the center of this sphere.
Blessed initiates of Luxor, I deliver to you the realization that this fourteen-month spiral is also a turning point, for it is midpoint between the first three and the last three dispensations. It becomes the fulcrum of life.
You have known the initiations of the white, the yellow, and the pink. Through the violet-flame ring, there will be the restoration of the memory of the Ancient of Days and other worlds and experiences to the level of your soul. And your soul will learn the meaning of the inner blueprint. And your heart will be enfired by this memory, even though you may not entirely contain it in the outer vehicles.
But the inner memory and the inner magnet of your own origin will be so great that you will fly with the surety of eagles! You will know your course. Your chart and compass in the threefold flame of the heart, in the secret chamber, will guide you rightly.
Understand that the age of Aquarius and you have converged at the point of Self-awareness. You have met the star of the causal body of Saint Germain. This is not worlds in collision but worlds in immersion in the universal Holy Spirit. Therefore, take not the name of the Holy Spirit in vain nor blaspheme this person of the Eternal Comforter, for it is the unforgivable sin.9 And the Holy Spirit is in the person of every emissary of God, every ascended master, Elohim, archangel, elemental, and in the Christ of the beloved friend.
Those who deny the person of Saint Germain blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. The absence of forgiveness is seen in their barren and fruitless lives, in the bitterness of their condemnation. For they have not and know not the Master's presence, for they have denied him utterly. And until the sin is utterly forsaken, it is not forgiven; and therefore, they are outside of the presence of all of the LORD's hosts, and they even lose contact with the Lord Jesus Christ and their own Christ Self.
Blessed hearts, remember the Call. Remember Hierarchy. Remember your Christ awareness. Remember your expanded awareness of earth's evolutions who drink from the source of the fount of your own God-free being.
Remember the watch and the Watchman of the Night, Saint Germain. Remember, the accelerated light of freedom, as it has been misused in science, has also caused the destruction of worlds by way of transmutation, by way of the cosmic law of change.10
Freedom is a fire most powerful that must be guarded. Keep the flame.
Students of Summit University, receive the mantle and the mark of the Maltese cross. Receive the recognition of your own Christ Self for worthy deeds, for right thought which heals wrong action. Receive the recognition and admonition of your Christ Self to press further and attain a more surefooted victory.
I AM always Serapis. I have trained many souls. For some of you, this course at Summit University has been a taking over again of a course you once took under me. Some of you have had a greater fervor in this round than you had before, when you lost what I gave you. Some retained their reservations and reticence to almost the very end.
What a pity, for the joy of your heart and your freedom to be could have magnetized to you so much more than that which must now be your meager gain. Nevertheless, I encourage you to come again and to try again when your spirit is white-hot with determination, when your spirit is so fiery as to not allow itself to collect the doubts and fears which it passes through as a dense atmosphere until you are through this world and in the open planes of light.
Hosts of the LORD, seal them each one in the sacred fire delivered unto them. And I speak of all who hear me, for you are all pilgrims mounting the golden stairway to the heart of Gautama. This is the beginning of summer solstice. Therefore, this is a sealing of your reward of a year's service to the Mother and the Father.
It is sealed, for I have willed it so, God has willed it so, and I have sought a dispensation whereby that light might be sealed in your heart of hearts, your own Christ Self, the Sun behind your sun, and therefore not be lost and not be misqualified but be there as the magnet for greater attainment.
Lest I weary you, I take my leave. And my angels expand the circle of fire to include this place and this property for the fulfillment of its purpose. In the holy name of Mother, Amen.

To our beloved students of Summit University, our graduating students of Montessori International, and all of you who have participated in the beauty of the military exercise of Serapis Bey, to all of our staff, lovers of the Father/Mother God, and chelas of El Morya: I bring to you this Father's Day a message from Mark, as he was embodied as the writer of the Gospel of Mark, concerning the eyewitness account of the Apostle Peter and others of the life of Jesus Christ.
You are going forth from Camelot, the white fire core, at the hour when solstice strikes. I would have you prepared, as Jesus prepared us, as we understand his life. As I read this scripture, remember: Jesus went into the midst of the people, he interacted with the people for a very important reason - not for us to look at him, admire him, watch him like we would watch a movie, but so we would say to ourselves with each and every verse of the four Gospels and every word of Jesus, "He is doing this publicly so that I will understand what I will face as I am the son becoming one with the Father."
Dear children who are self-disciplined and accepting the discipline of the Brotherhood, students of the sacred fire, do not allow the world to fool you. And let no man take thy crown. Each of you has earned a crown in this hour. You will find that the earning of the crown is easier than the keeping of the crown. And the light that is lost, which was so easily gained in the first instance, is not so easily gained again.
I think of attainment as the highest mountain that I see out of the window at the Royal Teton Ranch. It is called Electric Peak because so many electric storms take place there. It is shimmering white, pure white. And the winds blow the snow and create the effect of the very mist of God, the very presence and image of Moses on the mountain, as you look up and see the wisps and the forms of the cloud mingling with the snow that is thrust across the sky. It is such a sense of movement of the sacred fire.
So I liken it unto your own attainment. When you stand on the very peak of a mountain where there is snow and ice, think of how easy it is to slide down the mountain that you have climbed so assiduously. Think about how easy it is to be in the valley or where the trees still grow, before you come to the rocky place when every step is a cosmic breath. And those of you who know mountain climbing know that it is an endurance test - the gravity of the earth, the thin air, and the precision placement of each footstep.
I remember climbing Pikes Peak and realizing at the end, there was no other way to go but up. I couldn't go down. I couldn't change my mind. There was no route down. It had taken six hours to reach that place. And in the final thrust up that mountain, you could not take more than three steps and sit down.
It is an amazing experience to feel the magnetism of the mountain, the air of God! And the only thing that is real about you is your determination to reach the top because your life depends on it. And when you get there, you claim the victory and you keep it.
To me it was a trek for life, that Fourth of July 1973. It taught me a great deal about the Path. It taught me about determination. And every day of our life that surefootedness, that determination must be renewed.
You go forth now, then, from out of that snowy height and you plunge into the depths of the sea. The summer quarter of the cycles is the quarter of the astral plane. You go from the highest point of heaven and communion with God to the very gutter of the world to deal with every single type of energy and force that would take from you the lily of the Mother light.
Your victory is in this hour. But for me, your victory will be in September when you return to Montessori International and I see that you have kept the flame undiluted, uncompromised, and you have not sunk into the old indulgences that almost cost you your initiation in this year.
It is an hour of great rejoicing. But the hour of victory is the hour of sustainment. Without sustaining victory, what is victory?
