To the Righteous Who Strive to Enter into the Kingdom of Heaven:
Of old there was a saying that went forth in the land of Israel "The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge."1 For the vengeance of the Lord was greatly feared and the "visiting of the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me."2 Thus God was both feared and loved as He punished those who disobeyed His commandments and showed His mercy upon those who kept them.
But the word of the Lord came unto Ezekiel, saying: "As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the Father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. But if a man be just and do that which is lawful and right, ... he shall surely live, saith the Lord God."3
As the Lords of Karma review the world karma in this hour when the planet and its people are being brought to judgment to determine whether or not the present course of civilization should be allowed to continue, they must examine the effects of each individual's karma upon the karma of the race as well as the effects of the karma of the fathers upon the sons, the mothers upon the daughters, generation after generation. For although it is written that "every one shall die for his own iniquity,"4 both environmental and hereditary factors must be taken into consideration when the karma of a people and a planet is weighed.
Whereas the propensity to sin may be acquired just as the propensity for virtue may be acquired, the responsibility for sin must be born by the individual. Some diseases that have been considered by mankind to be hereditary are not hereditary at all; but the propensity within a family to manifest a certain disease may be inherited through physical, mental, or emotional defects which are passed on from one generation to another. The Lords of Karma in their assessment of the human situation often disregard those influences over which the individual has little or no control and make their determinations according to the motive held within heart and mind.
Thus each man is judged according to his works.5 But if he would work only the works of his souls and outpicture only those virtues which are native to his own solar design, then he must concern himself with the refutation in the name of the Christ of tendencies acquired through hereditary or environmental influences to be either a conscious or an unconscious channel for the perpetuation of human karma and karma-making conditions.
Even the greatest of saints have acquired from early training and childhood experiences personality traits and personal habit patterns that create an overlay upon the identity of the soul These modes of thought and feeling impinge upon the destiny of the soul and thwart the delicate expression through the outer vehicles of its finest feelings and those God-ordained influences that originate in the law of man's inner Being.
Those who are striving to enter into the kingdom of heaven6 must not overlook the urgent necessity in the final hours of their service, when the victory over the human consciousness in its entirety is the requirement of the Law, to examine the modes of their consciousness to see if these allow for the maximum expression of the Christ through the four lower bodies and for the maximizing of the Christ-potential as the archetypal pattern of overcoming victory to the race.
As the four sons of Judah - Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah7 - set the perfect archetypal pattern of the Christ in the court of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon who besieged Jerusalem during the reign of Jehoiakim,8 so the children of God-reality across the planetary body must set the pattern of the Christ Consciousness in the etheric, mental, emotional, and physical octaves of humanity's evolving consciousness.
Daniel held forth the flame of purity by refusing to defile himself with the portion of the king's meat and wine, and thereby he reinforced the etheric blueprint of the Law by which his three brothers also passed their tests. And Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over the four Hebrew children, allowed them to refrain form meat and strong drink and to eat pulse and drink water, proving themselves over a ten-day period9 that symbolized their preparation for the initiation of the ten.10
"And at the end of ten days their contenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat."11 Thus Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah - given the names Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego12 - held the Flame of the Christ in the mental, emotional, and physical bodies respectively. And the purity of their hearts magnetized the resurrection fires and the Presence of the Son of God which delivered them from the burning fiery furnace.13
The reward of the Law to the faithful is an activity of the Law that is sometimes perceived as grace but is always an action of alchemy. Take, for instance, the fact that God gave to the four children knowledge and skill and all learning and wisdom and to Daniel the understanding in all visions and dreams.14 This is not favoritism, but he unobstructed flow of the energies of the Christ Mind through bodies that have been cleansed and purified through prayer and fasting, obedience to the laws of God, self-sacrifice and surrender, coupled with a daily striving to enter in.
The wisdom of God flows freely to all. but only the few are able to receive it among the multitudes fattened with the pollutants of the world, the memories and meanderings of the human consciousness, the foul concepts of the carnal mind, the magnetism of misqualified emotions, and the chemicals and combinations that are the daily fare on the tables of humanity.
If you would make ready for the fiery trail faced by the three Hebrew boys, you must magnetize to the very cells and atoms of your being a sufficiency of ascension's flame, of the resurrection spiral, and within your members of the very Presence of the Holy Ghost. For only thus can you become immune to the heat of the fiery furnace. The four lower bodies of a people and a planet must be brought into alignment ere the Golden Age can manifest. And there is indeed much that needs correcting in the memory, in the mind, in the feelings and the body of this generation.
We commence with the children of the Light who have already commence the perfectionment of their vehicles, consecrating them as the bridal chamber for the Son of God. For if we can establish the archetypal patterns of the Christ within their being and consciousness, we can then use their world as a focal point to radiate out into the world at large the pattern most holy of the cosmic cross of white fire, the cross that divides the circle of Being into the four quadrants that are given unto man that he might take dominion over earth, air, fire, and water.
As the Maha Chohan, or the Great Lord of the Chohans of the Rays, I bring to a close this series on the tenfold opportunity of the children of God to become Christed ones. But the instruction in our retreats continues, and our doors will remain open as long as there are some among humanity who are willing to make both the trek and the sacrifice that are necessary to enter in at the strait gate15 of the Christ Consciousness.
Here in our retreat focused in the etheric plane over the island of Ceylon as well as in the physical plane, legions of white-fire angels draw the essence of the Sacred Fire from the pure white Flame of the Holy Spirit of Alpha and Omega to sustain Life throughout the four lower bodies of the planet. And to all who yearn for the comfort that the purity of the Father-Mother God bestows, pink-flame angels who serve the Holy Comforter and tend the focus of the comfort flame - a white flame tinged in pink with gold at its base, anchored in a crystal chalice, decorated with crystal doves - carry the emanation and the radiance of divine love.
After you have studied in my retreat for a certain period and after you have attained a certain mastery in the use of the seven rays under the seven Chohans, you will be invited to serve with the white-fire and the flaming pink angels as they minister to the needs of humanity twenty-four hours a day at all levels of the human consciousness. And they, in the Spirit of the God whom they serve, are no respecter of persons;16 they serve as the Christ did - wherever the need is greatest, seeking to save the sinners as well as the righteous17 from all forces that oppose the immaculate image of the Cosmic Virgin made manifest in the four lower bodies. For they are dedicated to the preservation of these vehicles as opportunities for the Christ to reveal His Flame in time and space.
I consider that one of the most important teachings that I can bring to you as we conclude this series is a further explanation of Jesus' teaching "Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee, leave there thy gift before the altar and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift."18
Many who come to our altars to worship the one true God and to learn that they may receive the Holy Spirit know not that they have lurking within the subconscious folds of memory, mind, and emotions - through both hereditary and environmental influences - jagged forms consisting of resentments and prejudices held against other parts of Life. Hardness and hatred, memories of injury and injustice, and all forms of selfishness prevent the reconciliation between brother and brother and thus forestall the giving of the gift of self upon the altar of Life. Only unconditional love and unconditional surrender can eradicate these foes of the righteous that prevent the flow of the Holy Spirit and the joint service of angels, elementals, and men.
I trust then that in the days ahead you will pursue the total purification of consciousness - of body, soul, and mind - and your reconciliation with the Flame in all mankind so that your striving to enter in may have its eternal reward.
I AM thy comfort through all turbulence and travail and thy purity before the tyranny of tyrants.
