To Those Who Have Vowed to Forsake Not Wisdom:

When all the world crumbles about thee and the afflictions of Job come upon thee as the test of thy love of the Lord, then remember Wisdom. "Forsake Her not, and She shall preserve thee: love Her, and She shall keep thee."1 For the instruction of the Lord in the laws of His righteousness is sent forth to the children of mankind from Her hand this day - from the hand of the Divine Mother - that they might surmount all tribulation.

When thy life trembleth in the cup and the sands in the hourglass are slipping away, "take fast hold of Instruction; let Her not go: keep Her; for She is thy life."2 Knowledge that is secured within the center of the heart and in the forefront of the mind is a rod of power and a scepter of authority unto those who go forth to challenge the darkness and decay of a dying world.

When the great influx of Light, the oncoming tide of perfection, reaches the shores of man's imperfection, that imperfection must go down; for it cannot withstand the momentum of the Law, which by its very presence does unseat the unlawful with their unlawful manifestations and the ungodly with their ungodly manifestations. Thus Jesus taught that "not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."3

The Master also taught that those who both hear and do the sayings of the Christ are like a wise man who built his house upon a rock: "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."4 But those who hear His sayings and do them not are like "a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand; and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."5

As the Lord of the Second Ray of the Lord's Wisdom, I bring to you a message of salvation that will surely come to you through your working of the works of God according to the perfection of His will. When you make perfection the standard of all your endeavors, you espouse a flame that cannot be moved and that will in turn stablish you in the perfection of God that is your only hope of protection when all the world throngs about you in fear and frenzy as the karmic hammer of the Law descends.

Diligence in the attitude, the divine be-attitude, of being perfect - "even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect," as Jesus admonished6 - is the only means whereby the identity of the soul may become permanent in the identity of the Lord's Spirit. Through identification with perfection as the goal of life, man identifies with the very goals of the Cosmos; and in so doing he apprehends the laws of transcendence whereby he transcends himself. Thus, through man's unceasing devotion to the will of perfection and to the perfection of the will of the Law, those finite portions of the lesser self are transmuted into the infinite portion of the great God Self. Wherever in thought, in word, in action you establish the mark of perfection, there you anchor the flame of God's holy will to enshrine in man the nobility of patterned purpose, the authority of divine direction, and the capability of the conscious consecration of Being to its immortal destiny.

There comes a time when every man must be initiated by the sacred fires. And then it is that the winds of the Holy Spirit tear from him the tatters of his transient self and man's possessive nature is exposed. And all that he has acquired of worldly possessions is taken from him, either in life or in death, to see if his attachment be to the thing in itself or to the Flame within - the God Flame that is the cause and core of all creation, the blueprint, the design, the nobility.

If man's treasure is laid up in the things of this world7 as an adornment of the human personality, then when they are taken from him he is bereft and naked and broken. But if his tie is to the patterns of things that are eternal in the heavens,8 then by the authority of the Christ Mind all things that are necessary to the fulfillment of the abundant Life are returned to him again. For he holds within the perfect idea of the Christ and within his adoration of its inherent Flame the key to the multiplication of the loaves and fishes.9 And no matter how many times he suffers material loss, the spiritual abundance of his consciousness precipitates every good and perfect gift which it is lawful for him to have in the sight of his Maker.

How much more important it is then for man to lay up treasure in heaven, for the treasure of virtue and godly qualities tangibly expressed on earth becomes a treasury of blessings in heaven that accrue to the soul without number wherever the soul's evolution may be and on whatever plane it is evolving.

The devotion of the soul in the hour of the harvest of souls must be to the Divine Mother complete and without reservation. For the Flame of the Mother and Her wisdom are a swaddling garment to enfold the Divine Manchild unto the hour when child-man becomes God-man and assumes his rightful dominion over the earth. The words of Ruth to Naomi are the words of the soul yearning to be one with the Mother, to bring forth Her radiance, to be all that She is unto the children of God dwelling in the land of the Moabites:

"Intreat me not to leave thee or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me."10

As a father instructs his son, so I come to you through the written word that is the chalice of the Father's love to all generations, and I promise you in the true Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood concerning the Mother and Her Flame: "Exalt Her, and She shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honour when thou dost embrace Her. She shall give to thin head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall She deliver to thee."11

In the chambers of the Royal Teton, where the golden hue of victory saturates the atmosphere hallowed by the victorious ones, I stand to lecture to those who keep the Flame of the World Mother and to the remnant of Her seed who have forsaken the ways of the world in preference for Her mantle. I invite all who pursue Wisdom - though Her veils and garb be varied as She passes through all levels of learning - all who seek Her knowledge as that true knowledge which comes forth from the fertile Mind of the Creator. To you I say, Come to Wisdom's fount and make ready while there is yet time for you to become all that Wisdom has held in store for you throughout the ages.

And with the holy oil of deodar the Mother shall anoint you to consecrate you for reunion in the Flame.

An emissary of the World Mother, I stand in Life this hour,

Lanto

Note: Lord Lanto assumed the position of Chohan of the Second Ray of Illumination in 1958. Formerly Hierarch of the Grand Teton Retreat, he then turned over those responsibilities to Confucius.

18.1  Beloved Jesus the Christ - May 6, 1973

Vol. 16 No. 18 - Beloved Jesus the Christ - May 6, 1973
THE RADIANT WORD
"The Fig Tree Shall Wither" by beloved Jesus the Christ given November 12, 1972, at the Retreat of the Resurrection Spiral

With every appearance of those who wear the robes of righteousness in my name, there has come into the world a strengthening of the bond of cosmic faith.

Does mankind today think that I, who am alive forevermore, who have the keys of hell and of death,12 cannot speak through my servants the Prophets in this day as in elder days? Who will limit God? Who will limit me as the Son of God? Who will seek to prevent my word from going forth into the world? For behold, the world is encased in wickedness, and everywhere in all lands a spirit of discord is prevalent.

O mankind, who are the sheep of my pasture, I call to you today as in days of yore: Hear the Word of the living God. The time is at hand when by divine decree those whom the Father wills shall see my appearing in their hearts and in their minds, for there will I write my laws.13 And they shall establish in the world order and forever the domain of universal righteousness.

Behold the time of the withering of the tree. Behold and perceive that mankind shall more and more understand the lack of permanence in those things that are of this world. Be alert, be wise, and be diligent to sustain the memory of perfection within your inner self and within the mirror of the outer mind. I, Jesus, say unto you, the perfection of spiritual majority is at hand - the time when all shall understand who desire to that the water of Life which I give freely14 is flowing in the word order because God wills it so.

For a long time we have labored and have sought to deliver mankind from the pains of unrighteousness. Yet now today, even before its time, the decision has been made to establish an avant-garde order of the kingdom of heaven upon earth, the kingdom of Light and beauty within the mind and soul of man, that he may commune with the freshness of God that is apparent in the hand of Nature and Nature's God, that he may understand the fruition within him of the fruit of the Tree of Life. For this is God's will for all who will accept it.

While it is His will for all, there are those who by reason of their rejection have also in their declining refused to put on those garments of righteousness; and therefore the tree shall wither. And behold, as long ago I cursed the unfruitful fig tree,15 so do I today bring forth the spirit of prophecy in your midst and declare that behold, no man shall ever again eat the fruit of those who consciously reject the kingdom of God until such a time as, coming to their knees and in a broken manner recognizing the power of divine perfection, they shall say, "O God, shed Thy mercy upon me." Until such a time, they shall continue in hardness of heart, finding that at last the rocks shall have fallen upon them and they will be ground to powder.16

This is not an act of hatred, but an act of universal love. For violence and darkness and a lack of mercy shall perish from the earth, and in its place the new Tree of Life shall shine forth as the sun in righteousness. And mankind shall understand that that which embellishes the soul is the fruit of divine perfection. They will understand that the Law is thus fulfilled as they reach out day by day, seeking to establish themselves in the courts of righteousness for my name's sake.

Lo, I AM with you alway! Lo, I seek to establish within the boundaries of the whole earth and throughout the universe only the beat, the constant beat, of perfection that mankind may know that at last I AM come with healing in my wings17 to restore righteousness to the earth. For those who have judged unrighteously, behold, the Law shall return unto them unrighteousness. And man shall reap as he has sown, and the perfection of the Law shall remain without flaw.

Behold righteousness in its appearance. Behold righteousness as it appears within you - not self-righteousness that is mockery of the Law, but the perfection of divine righteousness that seeks solely to establish my kingdom without end wherever I AM. And lo, I AM with you alway, even to the end of the age.18

I thank you. And may my peace abide within you always.
