As David prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched for it a tent and gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord unto His place which he had prepared for it,1 so it is well that you should honor the Lord this day - first within your heart, the altar of being upon which blazes the Flame of the Most High God, and then in your mind, which is the tabernacle of witness for the Christ who "before Abraham was, I AM."2 For the mind and the mind's eye is the seat of the Logos out of which proceeds the power of the spoken Word that is the foundation for all the creation.
As the word of the Lord came to David through Nathan the prophet "Go and tell David My servant, Thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not build Me an house to dwell in: for I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day, but have gone from tent to tent and from one tabernacle to another,"3 so as the representative of the flame of love on the Karmic Board and as the Chohan of the Sixth Ray, I bring to you the word of the Lord this day: I say to you that in this hour of world travail, the ark of the covenant must be enshrined within the tabernacle of man's being. And it must be established there in the Holy of Holies, sealed in the chalice of the heart and the fires thereof. And the tents of My people Israel must be the biding place of the ark.
The tent is the focus of the Threefold Flame, the three focal points being spiritually interpreted as the threefold habitation of power, wisdom, and love - of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - that is the gift of Life to every man and every woman. This gift, when hallowed by the soul, when honored and adored with supreme adoration, gives every man and woman the right to be a priest or priestess of the Sacred Fire after the Order of Melchizedek.4
There is a time for outer building and there is a time for inner building. There is a time to worship the Lord in temples made with hands and there is a time to worship Him in temples made without hands.
You are living in an era that will be marked by some of the greatest changes that will ever take place both upon the planetary body and within the consciousness of its inhabitants. This era will be marked by the saturation of the earth with the five secret rays released from the hand of Mighty Cosmos, the emissary of the Central Sun who has been commanded by Alpha and Omega to forthwith release the energies of the secret rays that mankind might go within to establish the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, to perfect the blueprint, the inner keys, and the devotion to the Holy of Holies that is necessary to bring forth the kingdom of God into manifestation upon earth in preparation for the two-thousand-year reign of the Christ Consciousness.
During the period of the secret rays the precipitation of the culture of the Divine Mother, of heavenly patterns perfected on earth, shall come to pass. And only that which is perfect shall be allowed to remain, and all else shall crumble and be brought to naught by the weight of its inherent imperfection and man's departure from the original designs of God.
And so the word of the Lord that was given to David, who had thought in his heart to build a house for the ark, is given to you this day:
"I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth. Also I will ordain a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning. ... Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the Lord will build thee an house.
"And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build Me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be My son: and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: but I will settle him in Mine house and in My kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore."5
The urge within man's heart to build is often interpreted by him as an outer sign, when in truth it is an inner sign. Sometimes the sign of mankind's returning karma can forestall the forward movement of the plan of Hierarchy. Then it is that the outer sign must become the inner sign - perhaps for a time and times and half a time.
The judgment of the earth and its inhabitants announced by the God Meru at the October Class last has been accomplished. We have reviewed the karmic record; we have made note of recent events, planetary in scope, affecting the balance of Light and the activities of Light upon earth. We have taken into account the adjustments that must be made in the administration of our outer organization as the result of the calling of our Messenger to higher service.
In consideration of the mission that remains to be accomplished by our Messenger on earth - the one that is left, the other having been taken6 - the Lord has made known to us His timetable regarding the physical expansion of The Summit Lighthouse activity. And He has required of us that we make known to you the following.
God desires this day to secure the stronghold of His Consciousness and His Flame in devotees of the Sacred Fire across the planetary body. As those who have espoused the cause of Truth submit their hearts unto God and purify their body temples as His holy habitation,7 so will the Presence of God, the I AM that I AM, be strengthened upon earth and secured as the dwelling place of the Elohimic race.
At the appointed hour when the dust of man's own chaotic and cataclysmic consciousness settles, when the Divine Woman shall have brought forth the Manchild who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron and when the remnant of Her seed shall have put down the dragon with his seed,8 so then will the sign be given unto the king of Israel, unto the one who holds the key to the incarnation of God upon earth, that the son of promise shall go forth to build the temple for the ark.
Then shall he remember the words of his father: "And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy Father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever. Take need now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it."9
Even so shall the City Foursquare,10 as the Cosmic Cube, be lowered into manifestation as Thy kingdom come, because it was first held as the archetype of the inner building of the habitation of the Lord within the mind and heart of the remnant of My people Israel, who in every age are those who have chosen God-reality as the Promised Land of all that is real. And because they have chosen Reality, God has chosen them to be the people who should manifest His Reality and the Seen of His Christ.
Thus the Lords of Karma have this day instructed the Mother of the Flame to stay the building of the sanctuary until all be fulfilled that is required of her lifestream and the sure sign be seen in the sky and the certain sound be heard in the ear11 and the vision of the new heaven and the new earth12 be revealed before the saints.
This is the testimony of the Lords of Flame that the Word of Hierarchy be promulgated for the expansion of the teachings through hearts illumined by the Law, hearts consecrated by the Sacred Fire, and hearts united in service to our Cause. Let none forsake the establishment of the Golden Age through this activity or the building of the temple foursquare within. Let none forsake the Messengers whom we have chosen before the foundation of the world nor question their motives, which are pure in the sight of the Lord.
For the Light shall surely come, and all that has been given by the devotees for the pearl of great price shall be multiplied for the expansion of God's kingdom upon earth. This is the Law and the prophecy, and it shall be fulfilled. "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."13
Therefore, children of the one God, bless the Lord and rejoice in His name. In the words of David: "Blessed be Thou, Lord God of Israel our Father, for ever and ever. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all."14
I remain your advocate before the Court of the Sacred Fire as you invoke Mighty Cosmos' secret rays and watch the grain of sand take on the luster of the mother-of-pearl within the heart of the oyster.
