Vol. 7 No. 3 - Beloved El Morya - January 17, 1964

     Sound the Trumpet!

     Heart Friends of Infinite Compassion,

To chasten oneself, if results be forthcoming, is not vain, but to stand in the hot, biting, searing wind of criticism without purpose is a waste of the use of life. We cherish constructivism; We cherish the upward spiral; We cherish divine fervor; We indulge gentle voices mingling in hope for better things to come: but We adorn the victorious warrior.

Through weakness in the past many have failed. These have submitted themselves to the conformity of the world without recognizing the possibility that they might institute change. Some manifestations are best left alone; they are not worthy of disturbing. In other cases small matters must be watched with great care lest a cloud no bigger than a man's hand shall grow to cover the sky of Being.

This year is a year of great peril and yet it may well become, if properly guarded, a year of emergence from the crises of centuries. I declare, sound the trumpet! Let the bastions of Freedom be builded higher! Let the watchmen upon the walls strain the eyes and let achievement be Our battle cry.

It is true that We witness signs of Victory in the sky. Our banner is raised higher in Hope. We are set forth again, desiring a new conquest. The Christ figure appearing upon the mountaintop is seen in the marketplaces and the white robe of His radiance enfolds many. The joy of His appearing exalteth Our Heartbeat. We expectantly await triumph, while knowing that the heat of battle must wax hotter. Only in the forward press can ground be obtained and stalemate averted. Our aversion for complacency is well known. Those desiring safety may find it is not even contained within their beds.

The magnificence of courage and the courage of magnificence must be externalized in the multitudes. We destine a more perfect Cycle to receive the consecration of the energies of the multitudes: We enlarge Our borders. We overturn the tables of the counterfeiter of Our Energies. Those who dispute the Truth shall one day face the nightmare of their own human creation, and their cry of terror shall wake the welkin. Let Us derive no consolation from this but press for deliverance for all. Only in nobility of character and delight in the Goodness of God's Law can mankind find their Freedom from all error. Those who rejoice in the iniquities of another and in their errors will one day find themselves walking backward in their own footprints.

To seek direction and then to spurn it is the vanity of a vain intellect. The intellect of man has been builded about a citadel of egoism. The pursuit of knowledge has been indulged in as a means of aggrandizing the personality. Let Wisdom be sought for its tempo of deliverance. Let religion be a means of binding mankind to Godliness. Let Love become the enchantment that is the savor of Life.

The Beloved Holy Mother Mary and I have determined to see through this year a new birth of Freedom in the Great Cause for which Saint Germain has given and pledged His all. The terror that wasteth at noonday, then, must be set aside. The continents teeming with multitudes, bursting their bonds of oppression and seeking a more abundant life, must find a universal response flashing across the world as the lightning in a summer sky. The promise of the year must be fulfilled by organization; the dust of centuries - old human ideas of destiny - must be purged and shaken from the garments of man.

Let "stills" of thought be created on every hill, whether approved by men or not, and let the distillations of God's Holy Will created therein be received within the heart chalices of men to be partaken of as the water of Life of which all may freely drink. So speeds forth the Light of Our Hearts swifter than winged bird carrying an "even song" and also an "ode to the dawn." Pilgrims of the years and cycles, again We march forward.

     Your obedient,

MORYA
