As We approach the season of the year when in the land of America the blessings of Constitutional Government are proclaimed in a more vigorous and ceremonial manner, I AM mindful of the need to continuously amplify the Power of Freedom in the consciousness of the people of the world.
I realize that some may say, "Saint Germain has often spoken to us of 'quirks' of human consciousness and yet He Himself seems to have a quirk concerning Freedom." Well, Blessed Ones, let Me tell you that I do not ever intend to abandon My Theme, for It means the Freedom of all Life, including your blessed selves! And this is the point that must be remembered.
The statement, "There is nothing new under the sun," is a great Truth; and yet, that which is under the sun is quite internally replete with the splendor of God and all His shining! Therefore, in the variegated and multicolored manifestations of Man and Nature, there is already revealed more than the mind of Man could ever comprehend in his present state. Let those who are content to manifest a sense of barrenness in the cupboard of their consciousness - which they have neglected to store with the abundance of Divine Grace - continue, if they will, to feel a sense of sameness in all things and to express boredom with life. Verily, I say, they have their own reward.
But as for Me, I AM content only when I can dramatize for mankind the many holy aspects of Freedom. My very breath continues to pour out to mankind a greater awareness of the meaning of Freedom. This is a renewal of the ancient and sacred covenants which God holds with Man. And as His Emissary I will act in memory of My own Holy Vows made in defense of Freedom "Under God!"
Beloved Ones, you have heard it said that the Hierarchy will externalize wonderful rituals of incalculable value which will assist mankind to more easily outpicture the Great Laws of God here upon earth. This is true and the future will reveal it so. But, Blessed Ones, you must be mindful that a ritual drama will sometimes bear in its repetition the earmarks of sameness, albeit the comforting Presence of its continual Reality will be welcomed by those who understand its meaning and in each repetition thereof take increased Joy. You cannot expect an empty vessel or a "cloud without water" to appreciate the "everlasting Glory" in the same manner as those who are gracefully prepared to serve Life and to give glory to God for all His wonders of Creation. Responses are important, and no response is more important than your response to Freedom and to Life Itself.
You have probably known individuals who, by reason of some quirk in their nature, were unable to express the spark of interest or avidity for the many blessings which Life offers. Such individuals suffer as the result of their own inability to understand and appreciate the meaning of Life. Well, let Me tell you, Blessed Ones, that a dash of relish must be applied! Mankind cannot expect to express God Qualities without making a determined effort to do so. If they are expressing boredom and sameness and discontent, it is because they have generated a momentum of this very quality at some time or another and are still moving in the mainstream of that mood. Furthermore, they have been responsible thereby for contributing to the delinquency of all mankind; and they reap the harvest of that which they have sown.
Let them, then, recognize that they must turn about and swim to the shores of this river of their own discontent and cling to the branches that may be there - whether they be thorny branches or not - and they must pull themselves up upon the shore and leave the former unhappy scene and seek a place of joy and love and freedom under the Sun!
All God Qualities require cultivation. There have been numerous stories told concerning individuals who, upon entering into Heaven, found it not to their liking. God in His great Mercy and Understanding, knowing that some have not yet developed a talent and taste for Heaven's environment, sees to it that they are placed in spheres of etheric consciousness which are more to their liking and convenience.
Nonetheless, such a state is not full Freedom. For mankind have taken strands of Divine Substance and fashioned therefrom prison bars; they have usurped Heaven's Energies to create matrices which have incarcerated them. All of this - which beareth false witness to the God Creation of which they are capable and to which they must aspire - must be shattered. But it cannot be shattered unless there be an intense desire to do so on the part of the aspirant. Those who are content to go on having all things exist as they are accustomed do not honestly seek the Kingdom of God; and, in accord with the recent Cosmic Fiats that have been made, those who prefer to pursue the pathways of earth will not be sought after by the Most High God and can expect no attempt by Him to remove them from the outer darkness in which they are content to dwell.
Therefore, I AM addressing the great host of men and women who have a deep yearning within their souls for all Freedom, and yet have neither found nor completely attained It. I also address those chelas of some standing who through the years have poured out unceasing devotion to Me and to the Cause of Freedom for which I stand. I say to all, We continue to seek to weld together a body of men and women who will serve Our Holy Cause and the needs of those among the mankind of Earth who sincerely desire to express greater Freedom and Understanding daily. It is My Hope that I have begun to generate in you, through this dissertation, an awareness of your own responsibility to persistently cultivate the habit or momentum of manifesting certain Divine Qualities which may not have actually been your natural expression in the past.
There are some of you, for example, who have been accustomed to various types of music which are not the type of music which will magnetize in you the Holy Christ Radiance. The dissonant beats of Basin Street in New Orleans certainly will not produce the Holiness and Purity of the Christ Radiance within you and; therefore, it is vital that your tastes be changed. I know that those who have for many years enjoyed a particular quality of music may not at first appreciate the need to reform their listening habits, but such is the case with various habits which you have generated and which must now be regenerated through the use of the God Flames as you have been taught.
The molding of your character in accordance with Divine Ideals and Ascended Master Love must come about naturally through the voluntary responses of your own heart. We do not expect to use a cudgel or to try to force sainthood upon you. We realize that your own soul's desires which cry out for expression must awaken you to the great needs of the moment. You will find, of course, with the passing of time, that some of you will advance more rapidly than others. The pace is not always the same for all; and there are times when, as though in a twinkling of an eye, great progress will be made.
Yet, bear in mind, Precious Ones, that had you stepped aside from the path at any moment and abandoned it, returning to the "river of discontent," for example, you would not have been upon the path at the precise moment when the crown was conferred. Therefore, as in the case of the awarding of military prizes, had you not been present to have the General pin upon you the award for valor, you would not be listed among those comrades at arms who appeared to receive their just reward. Awards made posthumously are not as much appreciated by the recipient, or even by members of his family. I count those who serve Freedom's cause to be members of My Family; hence, you will realize that I AM most anxious to have you "alive" and abundantly serving Our Cause in this day of great decision making.
Now, the coming celebrations in Washington are intended to emphasize God Government. It is Our intent to be most practical and to recognize that the Government of the World is now in the hands of the relatively few who are sustained by the vote of the people; these in turn are influenced to a large degree by the image-making and propaganda-disseminating powers of those who, while not in politics, are in business.
However, Our purposes are not to engage in propaganda of a political nature but to generate responses on the part of the students of this Light which will inspire them to valiantly call forth from On High a descent of an amplified Flame of Freedom which will penetrate into the mental strata of the leaders of the world and all mankind as Heavenly Inspiration poured out from God upon their precious lifestreams. We will then respond with a deluge of Ascended Master Love and Light!
Through Our Radiance We also intend to disseminate to the world around a greater awareness of the meaning of Freedom so that the rank and file of mankind will join in the search for greater Freedom in every area of Life. This does not mean the license to express whatsoever mankind will; but it does mean the liberty to create Freedom-making causes and desires. You see, Precious Ones, the causes and cores of mankind's distress in the past must be analyzed and understood and then new conditions created, in order that the bondages of the past do not become the bondages of the present or the future. Each generation desires to offer to its progeny a more wonderful gift of Purity, not only in world government but also in self-government. This Purity is the Power behind all progress, and living as you do in such delicate times when opportunities of world import are constantly coming to the fore, you must be ready always to do your part as Minute Men of Saint Germain.
