IMMORTALITY

Alpha/Omega
"I AM the Beginning and the Ending"

To the Children of the Light of Alpha and Omega -

Alpha and Omega! What names to stir the heart and the ancient memories thereof! Beloved ones, the flame of their Life within you is immortal! Man, as a manifestation of God individualized, ought not to be thought of in terms of finite beginnings and endings - yet men are prone so to do.

Never let your hearts be troubled, little ones, for my statement "I AM the Way" can be applied to many of life's problems, mysteries, and requirements. God is indeed the way to adjust every condition, to produce all perfection, and to provide the power to cope with each situation as it arises.

Atomic energy seems so powerful to men, and yet divine power is infinitely greater, possessing the capacity to roll up the universe as a curtain1 and to spread it out again in shining splendor. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."2

All tests, trials, and initiations, together with everyday karmic experiences, come to the disciples of the Word in order to prepare them for eternal Life. Although the children of Light already have that Life within them, in order for its magnificent power to enter into and then transcend their finite nature, all that is mortal, all that expresses inharmony must first be transmuted so that the full glory of the flame of immortal Life can be safely applied to the mighty God-vested soul of Light's potential in each lifestream.

Would it not be a great pity to infuse eternity with humanly created discord? The God of Love is too firm and too perfect to thus risk the sacred, chaliced treasures of universal Love; hence, by God's great wisdom, the way of the Tree of Life is guarded by "Cherubims and a flaming sword" from him who yet profanes his spirit by sinful and unholy acts and would, if allowed, "put forth his hand, and take also of the flame of immortality from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever ..."3

As we have so often told you, it is not a sense of sin that we would develop in the sincere seeker for Godliness, but rather a sense of holiness which like a vein of gold is hidden in the heart of the earth. The spiritual alchemy of Life will raise the sincere who, in purity, are willing to press toward the mark of Christhood for the prize of victory until all that is of the human is changed by the glorious golden fire-ring of heaven into Christlike qualities. So long as the mind is steeped in a sense of sin and error, it is difficult to transfer to the soul the immortal sense.

Beloved, my statements are actually Life, and Life-giving, although they may appear to be simple; for they embody the law of eternal Life which is able to heal you as you drink it in. Unless you are willing to become as a little child and enter into the kingdom of heaven through the doorway of simplicity, you may never find the Way, though you pass through a range of many embodiments.

Many continue to search the scriptures because they think, as they have been led to believe, that in them they will find eternal Life;4 yet it is the very scriptures that testify of me as the messenger of the universal Christ consciousness.5 This consciousness is the illumination of the Holy Spirit in which all must personally share!6

The depths of God's love and wisdom are to the present hour conveyed to hearts of goodwill who make consecrated application to the heart of heaven. The door of communion is never shut, for I AM the door that opens in response to the quiet supplication of the loving heart for more Light, until at last each living soul stands face to face with his own God-identity.

Heavenly light can be drawn forth or, as we say, `magnetized' through the power of illumined, God-directed vision. Those who are willing to purify others as well as themselves and approach thereby the throne of grace with loving petitions for all children of Light will find a greater outpouring of forgiveness manifesting for themselves ("Forgive us our debts in the same manner and by the same measure with which we forgive our debtors"7) and a further amplification of divine opportunity for service which will prove of great assistance to their spiritual progress.

In order to properly magnetize Light, men must be pure in heart. Remember, the pure in heart are blessed with the vision of God.8 With purity and consecration of spirit, then, hold the vision of your being (visualize yourself steadfastly) surrounded with immortal Light.

Such imaging can provide an immediate quickening of God's light through your physical form or at least start the process (spiral) at inner levels (in the etheric body). In any case, the call will compel the answer into eventual manifestation, if the student of heaven's law will believe in full faith in the power of the Word and persist in maintaining continuous attunement with the divine purpose of his life - which is to realize the immortality of the Great I AM within his soul.

Men must desire immortality more than all else and cherish their own mighty birthright if they are to attain conscious immortality in the here and now. Although the silent flame of identity blazes on the hearts' altars of all children of God, the soul must assume this flame unto itself by the sacred ritual of internalization.

The difference between the ascended Sons of God and his unascended children is precisely the difference in degree of internalization (assimilation) of the threefold flame by the soul. For all who are of God are endowed from the beginning with the flame of conscious immortality and actually retain the nascent Power, Wisdom, and Love of ascended beings within the mighty flame of Life that beats their hearts.

When Nicodemus came to me by night long ago, I spake unto him, saying, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."9 He, supposing my words applied to a physical reentering of the womb, remained puzzled by his literal interpretation of this concept.

But I spake of purification through the rebirth of water (Mother) and through the quickening of the spirit by the sacred fire (Father) as being necessary for the soul to reenter the consciousness of Alpha and Omega (Divine Principles of the `beginning' and the `ending' personified in the `Father/Mother Elohim') whence he is come and into whose kingdom he shall go.10 This rebirth by purification through the `waters' and the `fires' of Life is the means to enter in to the Holy of Holies of thy I AM Presence. A progressive understanding of the Word and spiritual revelation in subsequent embodiments has since revealed to this blessed soul the truth of my statement.

Spiritual men and women of today recognize that their God-identity is a mighty rushing wind11 of Power dominated by glowing, infinite Wisdom and saturated with radiant, holy Love without limit. Souls of vision are universally coming to realize the significance in their lives of the mysteries I taught to my apostles and disciples in secret and in parable.

It remains for the individual to acknowledge that God is in him and that in truth his identity includes - in the totality and oneness of Being and in the externalization of the flame of immortality - both the Son of God (his Holy Christ Self) and the God of very Gods (his I AM Presence). The words I AM embody this concept; for even when man declares, "I am," he is affirming below the very nature of his divine being Above. Thus, in the daily use of the verb "to be" he is declaring his existence and his reason for being - to integrate with the Be-ness of God and to know the bliss of the "I AM" consciousness.

It is, therefore, blasphemous to deny the power of God by using the various tenses of the verb "to be" in order to lay claim, by the power of his name, I AM, to lesser human qualities. When you say, "I am sick, I am weary, I am bored, I am angry, I am afraid," you empower these conditions of relativity with the light/energy/consciousness of the One whose name is I AM THAT I AM.

Why not affirm, instead, the immortal truth of Being? "Lo, I AM God in manifestation everywhere!" is a far more accurate statement of your true divine Selfhood. This statement alone, repeated many times a day as a flowing mantra and a song of the heart, will swallow up the petty negatives that tear down your spirituality.

The immortal sense works wonders: It is magic, it is spiritual alchemy, it is divine Truth, and it assists the multitudes in entering the kingdom of God. When this wondrous sense of well-being, in reality a manifestation of the Father/Mother consciousness of Being, takes dominion in you (by the power of the Holy Spirit in both form and formless wonder), the Sun of Righteousness (your beloved Holy Christ Self) will come into your temple with a holy light in concentrated, consecrated radiance, blazing with the full intensity of the Godhead all around you.

And lo, a universe is born! Man is "born again" in the rebirth of Truth. And the LORD God once again beholds in man the creation of that Good which He made because it is Himself.

The weaving of the garment of conscious immortality must be achieved here and now while you are yet in human form, else the plan of heaven for which your soul took embodiment long ago cannot be fulfilled. Therefore, adore your God Presence daily. Give thanks for all that you have and are. Praise and bless Life for its permanent gifts, and in so doing, find release from all the sense dogma of the ages which has surreptitiously established opposition to Truth and filled the spirit of man with an oppressive fear.

Lift up your eyes to the reality of the Light of God which is everywhere and feel the radiance of the Light enfold you. Feel that Light penetrate your being as immortal Love reaching into the very core of your being - physical, emotional, mental, and etheric.

This blessing shall manifest to quicken the vibratory action of these four lower bodies until the power of the three-times-three descends from the tri-angle of tri-une Be-ness: the Father (the Mighty I AM Presence), the Son (the Holy Christ Self), and the Holy Spirit (focused in the threefold flame, which establishes the unity of the soul with God). Truly, the Light of God conveys the Power, Wisdom, and Love of the Trinity into the outer dimensions of selfhood, and the victory of that Light overcomes the world.

The unity of the Holy City, the New Jerusalem which lieth foursquare, and the holy tri-unity is a consummation of the seven holy lights blazing in the temple of being.12 Thus, the infinite cycles of expression are fulfilled in the blessing of Alpha and Omega, who represent thy going out from and thy return to the heart of God. "I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."13

You are a child of the Light. As a son of God, and enveloped in that consciousness of "thy Christ, my Christ,"14 you are not subject to outer conditions. If you will only fix this firmly in heart and mind, your blessed four lower bodies as receptacles of your thought and feeling vibrations will fulfill the Hermetic axiom "as Above, so below" I AM THAT I AM. So, by the Great Law outpictured in you "foursquare," you shall know the meaning of these words: "Thou art my beloved Son, this day have I begotten thee!"

O immortal Love, seal them within the folds of Thy heart until they, too, are free, returning with me to that sacred altar of Light exalted where all joy is e'er in fulfilling Thy holy Will.

I AM thy life in consecration,

Jesus the Christ

Volume 6, Number 18, footnote 12. Spiritual interpretation of the menorah. Seven principles of the seven rays are mastered by the soul through the outpicturing of the threefold flame in balanced action in the four lower bodies. This is accomplished in seven stages of initiation, or steps of precipitation, under the guidance and tutelage of the Lords, or Chohans, of the Seven Rays. See Zechariah 4: The angel shows the prophet a "candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof."
This vision depicts in the golden candlestick the silver cord which extends from the heart of God in the Great Central Sun to the individualized Mighty I AM Presence, passing through the Holy Christ Self and anchoring in the heart of man the illumination to carry out the will of God in love.
The bowl represents the consciousness of man, which is fed by the self-luminous, intelligent light energy which flows over the silver cord. The seven lamps represent the seven receptacles of man (spiritual centers called in the Hindu chakras, i.e., wheel of the Law), sustained by the sacred fire from the one Source, flowing through the seven pipes. The seven pipes typify the seven rays, or facets, of the creation which must manifest the light of God through the seven lamps.
The three central candles of the menorah blaze forth the threefold flame of power, wisdom, and love (blue, yellow, and pink) embracing the threefold nature of the Divinity - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The two candles to the left of the blue flame of power represent the etheric and mental bodies of man, which are designed to outpicture the Fourth Ray of purity (white) and the Fifth Ray of science (green) respectively. To the right of the pink flame of love are the candles representing the emotional and physical bodies, whichare designed to outpicture the Sixth Ray of devotion (purple and gold, and the ruby ray) and the Seventh Ray of ordered service (violet) respectively.
The two olive trees on either side of the candles are "the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth" - i.e., they represent the authority of God invested in his representatives on earth in every age who hold the scepter of power in Church and State. The tree to the left is the blue plume of power directing all levels of government, and the tree to the right is the pink plume of love which presides over the religious life of the people.
The entire symbol of the candelabra (specifically the menorah in Hebrew terminology) is enfolded in the yellow plume of illumination, the key to man's fulfillment of his sevenfold identity. Thus the complete thoughtform of the two olive trees (power and love) at either side of the candlestick (wisdom) represents the action of the threefold flame in human society, while the candles in the center interpret man's inner and outer unfoldment in the fulfillment of the divine plan.

Footnotes:

1 "To roll up the universe as a curtain." See Zechariah 5. The prophet envisions the purifying and transmutative process taking place through the action of karmic law symbolized in the "flying roll" (the etheric record of the thoughts, motives, and acts of each individual lifestream). Only the actions of the guilty are punishable; the exactness of judgment is symbolized in the ephah (a standard of measurement) and the talent of lead (the weight of karma) balanced on wings of mercy. Good deeds rest on their own merit; the energy thereof is transported to the storehouse of light, the causal body.
