To Earnest, Forging Hearts Who Would Know God Within -
Weary pilgrims, throw aside your languor and plunge into the healing fountain of God-identity! Declare with the LORD of the whole earth, "I AM Good," and fulfill the fiat of the Creator's observation of the creation!1
The soul that sinneth may die, but the just man shall surely live forever.2 The sinful consciousness and the record of sin must be cast into the consuming fire of God in order that the good which man has wrought, and he himself, may live forever. Therefore, O House of Israel, come apart from your iniquities and walk uprightly with your I AM Presence!3
It must be understood that immortality is an endowment synonymous and concurrent with Life - a birthright, not a usurpation. The overlay of wrong thought and feeling has too long veiled by an energy veil (a shroud of humanly misqualified substance) the Light that is the Life-giving essence of freedom for every atom in manifestation.
Now, the quality of earnestness has its place in the fulfillment of your spiritual search and, together with the quality of forgiveness expressed toward self and others, goes hand in hand with that integrity of being which cannot be corrupted by the distortions of the mass mind. You deal directly with God within yourself; therefore, only through intensifying the oneness of your identity with him - so that you are constantly aware of God living in you as naturally as in the universe - can you obtain permanent reality and thus immortality.
The guise of human creation is full of deceptions and runs so contrary to Truth that it would seem a simple matter for the children of the Light to uncover its lies. The reverse is true, for often self-deception is based on the seeker's own rightful longings for Good to manifest in his world as happiness. When the great spiritual realities of Life do not appear, many feel compelled to synthesize them and they compromise the divine plan, forcing it with their human concepts of how they think things ought to be. Or they sojourn for a while in a wilderness of deceptive self-rule where the very fact of their self-created illusion is cleverly concealed from their own perception.
The mighty gift of immortality is not far from anyone in whom the flame of Life is manifest, for it is the bequest of God to each one made in his image. Mankind dwelling in the beauty of the forest often do not see it for their absorption in the trees. It is not our intention to destroy aught else but illusion itself through the conception (and reception) in man of self-governed perfection and holiness. Only thus is the curtain of mayic mist drawn back and the bright reality of Truth seen to be shining in pristine purity.
When you perceive the truth concerning your own life, it cannot help but quicken your spiritual pulse. Mounting hope leads to enthusiasm for the divine plan. And the inrushing power of the Holy Spirit as a joyous anticipation calms and claims the heart in the noble interest of exalting the whole consciousness into a more radiant, divine manifestation.
The "here and now" of spiritual experiences progressively illumines the tapestry of Reality that is carefully woven within the soul memory. This Reality is inherently a part of the God-identity (the Sun behind the sun) of each lifestream who is blessed by the power and grace of heaven. Your self-chosen yet God-appointed mission unfolds as an ongoing service of the ages; the purpose of your life is no longer isolated in a finite segment of experience called a lifetime. Expansion of Spirit's expression and an infinite self-awareness occurs; immortality is understood and magnetized in the unity of your own God flame.
The magnetization of the life-force through the seven chakras is one of the functions of the flame of Life within you. Only by the invocation of the light of Alpha and Omega through application to the blessed threefold flame can the genuine wedding garment4 of immortal love be safely woven. Adorned in the mantle of purity, the soul is escorted gently to the altar of consecration where the Great Initiator effects the union of the bride in Christ, anointed for the sake of cosmic progression on the road of immortality which leads to the Holy of Holies, the I AM THAT I AM.
Your discovery of the flame of your immortality is not the revelation of a moment or even a lifetime. Yet, under the guidance of your Mighty I AM Presence and with the assistance of the Ascended Masters, you can hourly hasten the day when, because you are already sealed forevermore in Christ, having experienced the alchemical marriage, you are able to draw forth and magnetize the full power of God unto salvation.
Then, through the ritual of the ascension shall you be permanently charged, not only with the golden flame of the crown of Christ-achievement, but also with your pure Christ-intelligence, the discriminating quality of the Godhead. Thy Father shall surround thee with his all-pervading love of the cosmos which he has made and placed in miniature expression in the threefold flame of your heart.
Holding this goal for you in highest mind, I am commending you to the care of the Good Shepherd, your Holy Christ Self, offering you my assistance - together with that of my beloved and supremely faithful Jesus - poured out in limitless love and sealed in the heart of Wisdom's flame.
To the wise immortality of divine Love, I commit the safekeeping of your being.
