To the Quick Who Respond without Reservation -
The prelude to the calling to be a disciple of the Ascended Masters may be sensed by the outer consciousness, but often the only indication is the still small voice in the depths of the soul, of which the outer self is scarcely aware.
If you are engaged in mending your nets when the call comes, as some of my disciples were, you will forsake all and follow me.1 Blessed ones, unless your response to the voice of God be quick and without reservation, you will be left as the rich young ruler who sorrowed because he had great possessions which he could not forsake to find the eternal kingdom.2
In every such case it is fear, blessed children of the Light, which rules the heart and crystallizes the consciousness in human brittleness and frailty. Alas, men do not derive the joy they thought they would from clutching their pitiful possessions. Did they not first receive all these gifts from God, the Father, and are they not called to be stewards of his graces?
Behold, then, the Father's love and let go of vain human imaginings which have not brought you to the gate of happiness and the Life everlasting. Enter in at the strait gate3 which admits only divine love - and find power, amplification, hope, and expansion in the realms of that eternally creative Love who is God.
Our dear students have often lamented the fact that so few sincerely seek the spiritual path and yearn to know God. You are a part of our band of Light's children; therefore, blessed ones, remember this: only the few have found, whereas the many are still seeking but know it not. We rejoice that you have opened the door of your heart to the fullness of the Ascended Masters' love and thus are learning to help change world conditions in order that the many may also find the narrow way (spectrum) which leadeth unto Life.
O how glorious it will be when every blot and stain of sin is removed - cause, effect, record, and memory - from the minds and hearts of men! What a holy communion there will be on that day when the last child of earth accepts the fullness of his own Mighty I AM Presence! It will be a great day indeed.
I urge you, dear ones, to accept this possibility and be not affrighted by present appearances. The jagged peaks you behold on the steepest climb, whose towering heights are beheld at close range only by the wild animals and yourselves, are but sentinels of accomplishment guarding the path to the summit you shall attain prior to your ascension.
I am confident that every sincere child of Light, when God-taught in the science of the spoken Word, will rejoice in removing and transmuting every galling memory from the realm of the four lower bodies and will likewise welcome the fullness of God's loving plan manifest in his life. My precious ones, how often humanity find that their delights have turned to ashes and that the pleasures they have sought in worldly ignorance have ended in bitter disappointment. How can warfare and vanity compare with the lovely plans of God for his creation?
There is no need to struggle, blessed ones - the fullness of creation is yours for the asking. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"4 was my declaration to my disciples, and it remains as eternal Truth to the present. If you do not hear my answer to your every call, if you do not see the soul progress you are making, however slight, do not challenge the Law by self-doubt or misgivings, but rather seek and find the error in your application of the Law.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."5 This admonition contains the formula of man's eternal covenant with his Maker. It is your first "test question" on your self-examination checklist, if your current results are not all you expect them to be. Ask yourself: "Am I really seeking God's consciousness first - each morning and before every decision - before I get involved in my own human reasoning?" If your answer is not an unqualified "Yes!" then I say, "Mend the nets of your consciousness! Come up higher!"
Call unto me, blessed ones, and know that I AM always with you to assist you in unfolding the radiance of your seamless garment of light and the benediction and comfort of the Holy Spirit which shall lead and guide you into all Truth. Not everyone who says, "I am the Lord," is speaking Truth;6 but they who do the will of the Father shall retain his holy vibration forever. (Only those who acknowledge, "The `I AM' in me is the LORD," embody the real Truth of being and manifest his will.)
I am joining the entire Great White Brotherhood in confirming the law that "the last shall be first, and the first last";7 for all have been called but few have chosen to answer the call.8 I await the renewal of ancient pledges.
The blush of the disciple's first love for his Master, like the roseate dawn of the golden age, will open the windows of heaven to flood the earth with so much love that the kingdoms of this world9 will become the domain of those Christened ones who have made their own calling and election secure.10
I AM compassionately extending to all the mercy and love of our Father, today and always.
Protectors of the Sacred Fire in the Citadel of Consciousness -
So exalted is this calling of discipleship that each one must enter into the anointed Presence of his Great God Self in order to receive the fullness of its outpouring and the opportunity to distribute its blessings to all. The disciple of God's wisdom must strive to enter into the heart of God to commune with that central Source and then to outpicture (precipitate) each day in the physical octave the manna (daily bread) which the Father freely gives to all his children who ask that they may receive.
Beloved Jesus and the great Masters who have made their ascension studied and practiced this fundamental law of universal creativity, or precipitation. By drawing forth the eternal substance from the mighty storehouse of God's pure energy, they were able to feed the multitudes the spiritual leaven of the Christ consciousness as well as supply their mundane needs - whether bread, coin, or wine.11
Control of the elements, mentioned in our last dictation, is achieved through learning the daily ritual of gathering spiritual substance from the cosmic altar (by dynamic decrees and the meditation of the sacred fire breath12) and protecting it within the lower strata of one's being, ready for immediate release (through the sacred centers, i.e., chakras) whenever the need should arise.
Also, beloved ones, the instantaneous healing of every discordant condition can be had by those disciples who will discipline their thought and feeling worlds and govern the total outflow of their energies even as the rhythmic intake of light is put under the control of the God flame.
As you absorb the radiance of our dictations, whether spoken or through the written page, guard well the citadel of your consciousness, that the tramp thoughts of the carnal mind and human riptides of feeling do not rush in to steal the harvest of light which you have so diligently garnered and increased by the Father's love. One of the primary functions of our dictations is to release to you that living, pulsating sacred fire which is absolutely essential for your achievement of the works of a Master in physical embodiment.
The goal of life and the Father's purpose for your present embodiment as a chela of the Ascended Masters is to be a Christ, having authority and dominion over every outer condition. It is not enough to sit at the Master's table; today there is a great need for vigilance and service among the students in order for these teachings to be made known far and wide "as the waters cover the sea."13 This is a prerequisite to your ascension.
Take to heart, dear ones who must exceed all past performances of the hearers of the Word, the Pauline passage:
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders and with divers miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?14
We urge the student on the Path to be alert to the opportunities of discipleship, to demonstrate cosmic law in his daily affairs and to maintain the equanimity of the Christ consciousness, no matter what subtle argument might seem to compel him to descend into the depths of mortal vanities. In order for the students to move forward, it is necessary for all to make a covenant of peace and harmony with their Mighty I AM Presence this very hour, asking the beloved Presence to charge their minds and worlds with such a powerful action of the sacred fire that its very holiness transforms their lives and makes the slightest disturbance of that precious flame unthinkable.
It is absolutely essential for the students to realize that to misuse the energies so lovingly bestowed by the hierarchy upon their beings will not only rob them of the blessings at hand but also prevent further progress until they consecrate anew their lifestreams as chalices of God's purity and perfection.
The Mighty I AM God Presence intends every abundant grace to be enjoyed by his beloved children, and so we stand ready to help each disciple on the pathway. Hear the calling, precious hearts, and expand the flame of Truth throughout your four lower bodies by resurrecting every divine hope dormant in the quiescent streams of your soul (i.e., solar) consciousness!
Let there be vigilance, vision, and victory for every chela until every vestige of mortal limitation is transformed into a vestment of God's shining glory and you stand once again before the altar of your Mighty I AM Presence in the glory of your ascension.
