Urantia is Earth's name in spiritual Light. Gaia is the Earth of Life. Pachamama is the mother Earth. And we call Earth the material planet. In this context Urantia is Light ... Gaia is Life. And so, Urantia-Gaia is the ideal of Earth estabalish in Light and Life. GAIA is also the abreviation of "Grupo de Aprendizes da Informação Aberta" (Group of Students of Open Information). We conceived a pratical finality of GAIA with 7 principal motivations: 1 - united personality; 2 - magnified soul; 3 - spiritualized mind; 4 - health body; 5 - integral education; 6 - united family; 7 - human fraternity.
Those 7 motivations in the site of GAIA could synchronize with 7 inspired purposes visualized by US. In portuguese NÓS is the translation of we and is a reference of US. We are a group of students of the open information in the Internet. US is Nós, is Urantia-Nós is Urantia-noS (Urantians). US is also the abbreviation of: 1 - Urantia Students; 2 - Urantia Spiritual; 3 - Urantia Soteria; 4 - Urantianos Saudáveis (Helth Urantians); 5 - Urantia School; 6 - United UrantianS; 7 - Urantia Social. The motivations and purposes organized above are ideals of personal, spiritual and social realizations. Until this moment we have been able to realize in this site the directory of .../US/... about the spiritual purpose of GAIA of edification and making of our own soul, birth of our eternal and immortal spirits, in attunement whith the absolute Adjuster nucleus of the human personality, in accordance with the most recent presentation of truth to our world revealed in the Book of Urantia.
Those realizations are personal ideals. Jesus remembers us that "Though human beings differ in many classes and groups, we should make no such distinctions in the spiritual brotherhood of men when assembled for worship in the presence of God". While Jesus has shown the way to the immediate attainment of spiritual brotherhood, the realization of social brotherhood on your world depends much on the achievement of personal transformations and planetary adjustments. Frater means brother. Fraternity is synonymous brotherhood. We look for social fraternity based in spiritual unity of persons before the spirit Father.
Human fraternity is one of the practical objectives of GAIA. US also means Urantia Social. US is United States of Americas in Urantia. US will be United States of Urantia. This is an ideal of human brotherhood and fraternal love based in the fatherhood of God. The ideals are like the stars. We don't touch the ideals, neither the stars, but both guide us.
