Lanello's Birthday Address 1987
Out of the heart of the Son of God a fountain of Victory begins to rise. It is a welcome sight, for the fountain of Victory, beginning with a single stream, is the sign that the impelling fire beneath the rock is a fervent heat whereby Victory does rise.
I have come to speak to those who desire to hear me and to listen. Many have listened to our Brotherhood, many have heard the Call, yet they have not internalized the Word. This Word, beloved, is assimilated by love and by loving obedience. The fruit of this Word is a living sacred fire and flame-flowers of the heart. Where the roots of consciousness have assimilated indeed that Life, there the flowers spring forth.
Thus, beloved, it is impossible to take the word [of God] merely to repeat it again. But if thou wouldst become the word, then endow it with the fire of Love. Understand that many quote great sages and prophets, the Lord Christ and us, the Ascended Masters. Yet there are times when that word is endowed as a renewal by the Holy Spirit, and there are times when they sound, as Paul said, as sounding brass or tinkling cymbal.1 Therefore, know, beloved, that all of the words we have ever spoken will never add up to the Word incarnate within you unless you bring to them the fervor of the fiery heart.
The Lords of Karma have sent me on this the anniversary of my birth date of my final incarnation,2 and I am sent with the challenge to impart to you the wherewithal of fulfilling the mandate of our God for the incarnation of the Word.
Thus, beloved, Love is the key. Therefore, one must measure one's capacity to be a cup of Love. Can the hand be a cup? the foot? the limb? the organ? the heart? the brain, the mind, the soul? Can the tongue be the instrument of Love?
Understand yourself in terms of the microcosm and therefore know, beloved, that all of thy members must now be attentive to be a cup fitting to hold steady the sacred fire of Love which is not watered down, not pale, not insignificant but intense. Intense is the only word to describe a love that shall overcome all things and ascend the invisible staircase to God as though one appeared to be walking on air.
Now, then, beloved, the fountain must rise. The fire must be, and if the coals have grown cold and if the fire has lost its fervor, so the fount of Victory shall be reduced and be no more, for it is the pressure of the heart's loving that does sustain, hour by hour and day by day, a Victory flame that can and does surely swallow up the forces of defeat and defeatism.
Blessed ones, in the beauty of the lilies there is the testimony of Christ's coming and his promise that you also shall come into the full maturity of that Christ life. Therefore, by the fount of my Victory flame I come to wash away, by the baptism of water, momentums of anti-Love that block the already rocky road of thy footsteps to the receiving and the giving of the fire of Love.
Let it be a fiery furnace, I say! Let it melt the snows of all the Himalayas. Let the love of my brothers and sisters upon earth be, then, for you a sufficiency for the melting of any and all human creation charted on any or all lines of the Cosmic Clock.3
Hasten ye, I say, to bank the fires of the heart's love in a self-givingness such as has not been seen, no, not since the day of the Lord Jesus Christ's submission to his judgment before the gods of this world. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.4 Let the sign of the heart become the sign of this Community of the Holy Spirit, and let it be one heart, one mind and one body that does sponsor the one-pointed goal of saving the nations for Saint Germain.
Blessed ones, let us begin this new year with a new notebook and a new writing. File all the old that have gone before and begin a clean white page. I desire you to have a section in this notebook that shall be entitled "The Impelling Love." Each time, then, you encounter a circumstance or individual, an idea or Master or littlest angel that does cause your heart to open and your soul to shed a tear, whatever is the impelling force of that love that does instantly bring you into alignment with Cyclopea's All-Seeing Eye and with the will of God, write it down in this diary in detail. For, beloved, when the heart is full of love and with communion with our Father, no sacrifice is too great, no self-givingness is even weighed; it is that "impelling love" that simply acts upon that force of cosmic love captured in the twinkling eyes of a babe or a cloud-filled sky of moving angelic hosts.
Blessed hearts, these moments come, and it is as though all of thy members should rise to release in the self-emptying to give that love to a cosmos. The self-emptying done with, one does resume what may appear as the mundane chores and responsibilities.
All servitors of Light throughout cosmos must tend to the details that are sometimes repetitious to keep the wheels of creation spinning. These day-to-day tasks are the very fabric and fiber of our movement, and they are rhythmic cycle which does establish a momentum of rhythm of service - so that when the Lord Gautama may come to your side, the momentum of balance day by day of the flow of Alpha and Omega in your service does give to you the ability to receive from him a higher balance as he would add to your momentum of constancy even his own and therefore lift you up and quicken you by the very momentum of your service into a new cycle - as we would say, a new arena and vista of cosmic awareness.
Blessed hearts, this beauty of self-transcendence, then, is punctuated by the mighty encounters of love that impel you once again to a higher giving that does enable you to perform the tasks of yesterday with a new zest, an enlightenment and a quickening of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, you may mark in your diary, concerning this impelling love, those things you were able simply to leave behind as though stepping out of yesterday's work clothes.
Moving on, moving on, moving on, that is what we are about! And where we are going is unto the untrammeled heights of the Central Sun.
All of your building is for the building of the temple of man, line upon line. Neglect not, then, the plumb line of Truth, no detail unworthy of effort, for the crystal of self must be an alchemical/chemical formula that does vibrate and quiver with the spiritual chemistry of God.
Thus, beloved, let there be open spaces in the crystal of self. Let the wind of love blow through, and in those hours when you are ready to pay any price, to do any favor to enter into the nearness of thy God, so note [it] well; for I tell thee the forces of anti-Love upon this planet always seek to take from you the cup of love - its poetry, its memory and its blessing. Each gift of love of friend or angel, Master or the Lord Christ himself must be seen as something that you are able to multiply by the fervor of the heart that does impel the rising fount of Victory in the Son of God.
You have seen how quickly, as time is counted, you can achieve momentum in physical exercise and sport. Know, then, beloved, that this is also a co-measurement, that you might understand that the spiritual fortifying of the spirit itself, the fiery spirit of God dwelling in you, is something that can be built and built upon and multiplied daily.
There is nothing whatsoever that is nebulous about the increase of the wedding garment, the Deathless Solar Body.5 Some have a rich garment composed of a most beautiful fabric out of resurrection's flame. It is a soft-white, off-white [creamy yellow] radiance; and, blessed ones, this garment of God is so full and, as it were, luxurious in light that angels know that that one is truly entering the kingdom of God.
Thus, one close to you has recently been shown this magnificent garment woven through many years of service in the Light, line upon line and detail upon detail. Thus, all efforts made to provide a cup for light to fill have resulted in the most intricate weaving as angels knit this garment many thicknesses, beloved, and beyond the garment proper, an aura magnificent of this radiance - the radiance of resurrection's flame.
How, then, shall this soul appear in the transition? Blessed ones, it shall hardly be a transition at all, for the movement between octaves and worlds by the Deathless Solar Body is complete, facile. Therefore know, beloved, that the constancy of service and the meticulous attentiveness to the embodying of the Word does result over the years of a lifetime (and yet even weeks and months) in a manifestation of spiritual glory.
There are others, then, who come to this community who do not bank the fire of the heart, do not bend the knee before our Lord Sanat Kumara, the mighty Ancient of Days. Thus, beloved, without that inner presence of Light that does confess that Jesus is LORD and that that LORD is one and one God in all and all manifestations of Himself, there is not the nucleus for the fire of Love to increase [in order] for the individual [soul] to be a chalice of Light and Love and majestic Peace in all her members.
Therefore, beloved, such individuals, having not a vortex of fire of the heart, have only a vortex of the absence - the absence of surrender unto God. These, then, use this vacuum whereby to draw to themselves the light of all others - possessions and things and monies and substance, energy and the Light itself. These are takers not givers, and they do not appear in the lineup of those who are weaving a Deathless Solar Body.
Often very personable, having the magnetism of the human consciousness, they have learned long and well the art of engaging others by the personality and its devices - and yet so close is the Personality of God, the great God-Good of that Holy Christ Self, who would descend upon the instant with angels of Light were that one to bend the knee before Almighty God and thus reconnect to his own heart flame.
Many of you are fooled by "the takers." Many of you do not understand that you are not obliged to give of your fount of Victory unto those who have not raised up a fount of Victory by their own heart's fervor. Thus, the devil who does also quote scripture does come upon you, quoting all of those verses concerning the giving to the poor and the helping of those who ask.
Blessed hearts, Jesus has asked me to remind you that his preaching was for the children of the Light, the lost sheep of the house of Israel, those in whom there does dwell a threefold flame, the kindling light of our Sanat Kumara, who has sponsored us all upon this earth. To help one another who have a threefold flame and the fervor of love that does impel the Victory fountain: this is in divine order. Nevertheless, let all helpfulness come as the giving to others of the ability to create for themselves what others have striven also to create.
We counsel, then, Work while ye have the Light.6 Ye do have the Light.7 But if you squander that Light unlawfully upon those who have lost their souls, become castaways and in fear of that loss of the fire of the altar of God have raced to this citadel of Light, blessed hearts, you are also in danger of losing the Light that you have. In the one instance, it is not lawful before Maitreya to so give it away, and in the second, beloved, those who would take it from you have an insatiable desire and need, for no sooner do they receive the light or the abundance of the sons and daughters of God than it does pass through them and they require another influx. For they have not or will not bend the knee truly before their own Mighty I AM Presence.
Blessed hearts, the inner walk of the Master who is Teacher and the disciples is known by the Master and of the Master. The Messenger, then, being the instrument of that relationship, does guard the secrets of the Master as well as the secrets of the disciple.
Know, then, beloved, though we may read and transfer to our Messenger in embodiment (even as we are given them) the records of the Keeper of the Scrolls, that which is known concerning the individual lifestream may not be shared with other community members until such time as covert as well as overt actions by such individuals must be noted because they may threaten harm or degradation or some burden to those other members of the community unless they be warned. Therefore, within the Mystery School there has always been provision for the transfer of an understanding of the paths of the initiates so involved.
Thus, beloved, to embody the living Word and to increase the fire of Love, the requirement that has been stated must be stated again to call to your memory that the gift which Paul the Venetian and the Lord Maha Chohan do prepare you to receive, the gift of the discernment of spirits,8 must be sought by you. Therefore, when having that discernment you will not go out another round or another ten rounds in idolatrous relationships of the human personality which ignore that which is the living Reality within.
Blessed ones, there are any number of initiates whose outer personalities are not necessarily of the popular type. They may not necessarily be communicative or magnanimous every moment. Blessed ones, the outer personality often has little to do with the inner God Reality of that person and the God-Good. For, you see, beloved, the farther one is upon the Path, the more strenuous the climb and the greater the challengers of his ascent and his Christhood. Therefore, there is a groaning in the spirit. Therefore, there is a travail as with the Divine Mother he does desire ultimately to give birth to a Christhood.
Understand that such an one so engaged may not be con- tinually focused upon the outer niceties or exchanging the outer pleasantries. Thus, it is well to judge righteous judgment,9 and if you are not qualified so to judge, then, beloved, to obey the admonishment, Judge not, lest you be judged.10
Therefore, I, your brother Lanello, stand in this hour to take from you those very blocks to a greater discernment and Christ-discrimination where the end result is not a criticism or an analytical gaze toward others but simply a sensing of whatever the burdens may be that you may help others carry and a sense of discipleship that will not allow encroachment upon your Christhood, whether from within your own substance or from without. To deny this encroachment, beloved, to hold oneself in the middle way of a discipleship that is neither too easy nor too stern is the way of wisdom.
Those who indulge their four lower bodies and others' are ofttime the ones who make excuses for the lower vibrations that they do sense and know. Thus the sympathy for a grain of the consciousness of the carnal mind (otherwise known as the devil) can be the crack whereby the waters of the astral plane begin to drip within your own astral body until a sea is raging, covering over the eye of God and all Christ-discrimination that is there in reality but not effective [in the moment] for the mounting of the soul up that spiral staircase into the secret chamber of the heart.
What I have said, beloved, concerns each and every one of my own here. For as you listen and ponder and contemplate my words, I will come to you and I will surely make known to you those things that are ready to fly quickly into the sacred fire and to be no more, as the dry leaves in fall are blown by the untimely winds of an early winter.
It is, then, with great joy that I might pass through these halls, and in this chamber, beloved, be accorded the honor of delivering the first dictation.11 Therefore, beloved, as I am accorded this honor, so I am given the opportunity to name this hall.
Blessed ones, the altar is magnificent but I cannot call this hall the Chapel of the Holy Grail. Rather I would call to your attention that it more resembles a gathering place of concerned knights and ladies, children and Keepers of the Flame who come together to take counsel with the LORD who has said, "Come, let us reason together ...,"12 therefore coming to deliberate and to understand the changing tides of the world scene in the economy, in the government, coming together in that deliberation in order to reach your conclusions, thence to face the altar and to call upon the Holy Spirit to release that sacred fire for a world alchemy that is so needed.
I consider, then, that this place is more than a chapel, more than a decree sanctuary. It is a point of union of hearts in the heart of our dear El Morya, our sponsor and our great love. Therefore, in memory of days of old and in promise of those things to come, including one day a true church and sanctuary, I prefer to call this hall the Court of King Arthur.13
Thus may you understand that Camelot has returned once again and you are called, each and every one, because of all past service to the Holy Grail, to that magnificent chalice of consciousness and being and to its perfectionment in yourselves and in the world order.
You and I know that each one of us has unfinished business, not alone from those hours, but from ancient times on Lemuria, Atlantis and more recent centuries. Thus, where there is a need, Camelot must be raised up. Let "the Once and Future King" be our present king, for we have need of him and we do not desire to leave him in the last stanzas of Tennyson nor in a concept of the death of Arthur.14
Therefore, to Life, to the resurrection, to the building of the future upon the foundation stones of the past, let there be lowered, then, the sound, the memory, the divine purpose, the sense of justice and the Round Table itself in this that is renewed again, the Court of King Arthur. Thus, you may call it King Arthur's Court, but let it be a place for thinking and feeling and striving men and women who truly have heard the call of Jesus Christ to endure to the end and therefore receive the crown of everlasting Life.15
There are initiations to be given and taken. There are jousts to be entered and the lists whereby you wrestle with and defeat the dragon of the lower nature. There is a perfecting of the physical body, both in exercise and in the wise use of chemistry in one's diet. There is the chalice of the mind that truly can become extraordinary as it is filled with Light and the balance of Alpha and Omega.
Let this new Camelot be for a new age, but let it be above all more than a building and more than a gathering place. Let it be composed of white stones that are for the building in octaves of Light of that which cannot suffer the corruption of moth or rust or decay. Let it be for the building, then, of that which is substantial.
And that glowing white as marble, as pyramid, as edifice, let it be seen on the inner planes by all the world, and let all the world have in this hour a mighty zest for a return, not to King Arthur's Court of old, but to King Arthur's Court as it is this day in the etheric octave, as it is the gift of Morya over this very place to be lowered, then, day by day into this building as each one does embody that very spirit, that very diamond heart and that very fire and fervor of Love that does produce the living fountain of Victory.
Remember, then, that the assimilation of our Word is by a spirit, a holy spirit - and its distillation and sending through your chakras, O my fellow knights and ladies of the flame: this, then, is the individual call and creativity of Camelot. This is the Call that goes forth from the Father/Mother God and from every Lightbearer who was a part of this endeavor of King Arthur in Britain of old.
All, then, who have risen again in the fire of the resurrection, all who are embodied, all who are yet to embody, I say to you, I am your Lanello and I have never been more fervent or fiery in my determination to defeat those who did cause the downfall of our Community of the Holy Spirit by their black magic and by their witchcraft, by their conniving! Blessed hearts, that scene did close for many of us, as it were, in tragedy of that which might have been, that which almost was. Therefore, we are determined in this age to bring our Christ Presence before every enemy of our beloved King Arthur.
Blessed ones, we are determined to defeat the consciousness which they embodied and represented as chessmen on that board. Wherever it is found, wherever there does rise a force to defeat the living Christ Light upon the altar of that temple and that temple of the Blessed Virgin Mary, there we would stand to defeat it by illumination's golden flame, by alchemy of transmutation, by exorcism of the Divine Mother Astrea and Archangel Michael, by the word of Love and Life and, yes, by a fount of Victory!
Blessed hearts, you who give in love, whose love is a fire that burns, you, then, who have the fount of Victory in this moment, remember that I have told you that one day you shall thirst for the waters of eternal Life and there shall be no other waters given save thine own. And because you have raised up a fountain of Victory out of a fiery furnace of love, you will drink of those waters and be saved and have everlasting Life.
O bank the fires of Love! O fill, fill the stream of Victory!
I am your Lanello in this hour, rejoicing in the beloved Guru, the wise man forever.16 I bid you sing to him in this hour and to his Diamond Heart.
I bid you adieu, heart to heart. Yet I go not away or anywhere, for I AM truly everywhere in the Consciousness of God! When you have that consciousness, I am there with you, a part of you, to do with you the will of God; and I promise to make your tasks light. And I promise that that light shall be translated and transformed into the Deathless Solar Body. Weave it, O weave it! Thou hast need of it even now.
I am come with comfort and joy. Now let us receive our Master Morya with that comfort and joy.
