New Year's Eve Address by the Lord of the World
Release of the Thoughtform for the Year 1985
Gentle hearts and gentle candles held high, won't you illumine the sky? In reverence of the Universal Mother, I deliver my Word to the evolutions of Light in all galaxies.
Timelessness. Spacelessness. Gentle lights, gentle candles belying the inner strength of the God who is born. How magnificent is the release! Hearts are light, flowers unfold again, and the birds know their song.
I am well pleased with the harvest of the year. It has been more than difficult for you, beloved. You have climbed not one but many mountains. Some have not been aware of just how much they have passed through. For ye have been spirit-sparks of violet flame passing in many cases through treacherous waters and malignant consciousness and by thy innocence transcending it all until the angels are heard to whisper, "How magnificent, how wondrous is our God, that souls emerge as the lotus blossoms midst the swamplands of earth!"
It is best not to know all of the intricacies of the travail. It is best not to dwell on failure, for this is the moment of joy. The release of joy is a release of freedom as a rain of dew from my own causal body. The Light, then, descends upon all, and upon all the alchemy is unique, individual. For who can say what blessing or bane the Light shall bring? Yet, for all it is the opportunity for blessing if they will make it so, if they will only tether to the real - to the thread of contact.
Gentle hearts, gentle fire, how much does it take to kindle a world? When will the hour come, O chela? O Metteyya,0 O Blessed One, sound the hour! Sound the hour when the little one does enter the Eternal Now, no longer to feel the limitations of time and space but to enter her eternal rest of nirvana and victory in the here and the now. The little one of whom I speak is the soul - a very precious soul. And ye are many precious souls.
Thus, I am glad. And in my power of peace I hold the strings of all manifestation. I hold the balance now in transition where some upon earth yet count 1984 and some 1985. Thus, the movement toward the sun shows the relativity of the awareness of the passage of infinite cycles.
There is a moment, an interval ... and the sacred breath. The sacred breath held in the secret chamber of the heart does cause the threefold flame to glow. And the glowing of the Light is a sigh of relief. Indeed, blessed ones, for certain conditions of darkness upon earth have sought their level. Their tide shall rise no higher. And the turning of the year is the sign of the receding of certain conditions that pertain to ancient times that shall not appear again.
For the Keeper of the Scrolls in this moment holds a taper in his hand. It is a scroll that shall be now consumed; and the cause, effect, record, and memory of the ancient infamy is erased from the screen of life. Thus, when it is erased, the power, the momentum, and the force thereof can no longer be duplicated or retained by any lifestream or lifewave in any of the Matter spheres. Thus, it is the passing of an era and much error - but not of this era, but of an ancient one that cannot be outpictured again.
Angels sigh the sigh of bliss and children nestle in the heart of the Buddha once again. May there be peace in many places as I plant the fire of Maitreya - peace as a flaming sword, peace in the person of Uriel, who approaches now with his report of service sustained by the call of the chela, the manifest God.
Thus, Uriel apprises me of the work well accomplished and of a relief to elemental life so burdened by prior darkness. Particularly, he desires you to know that the fire of the ruby ray and the purple and the gold of the sixth dispensation (the universal Body and Blood of Alpha and Omega) has been sealed and encapsulated in the sign of Jophiel's yellow rose for the undoing, the melting, and the dissolving of this hideous conspiracy against the youth of the planet in every nation. Hidden in the five secret rays in lifestreams and in forcefields, these may be quickened by your decree.
I, Gautama, salute thee, O mighty Archangel, in gratitude for the service of thy blessed life and all hierarchies of heaven.
I, then, raise my right hand as the Lord of the World under Sanat Kumara, and I release a tangible stream of fire, perpetually flowing, never ceasing, that is for the judgment of all conspirators against the youth, the Eternal Youth - which signifies the pure soul from the hour of conception of the holy innocents unto the eternality of the masterful presence embodied in the Holy Kumaras.
Thus, understand that the term youth spans all of thy life, all of thy becoming. Thou art the Eternal Youth as thou wouldst cast thyself as the youthful one. Thus, understand the meaning once again of taking on the aura and the garment of thy ascended self and knowing the full reality of the resurrection and the life on earth here and now as in heaven.
The stream of fire goes forth. And therefore, I say: In the name I AM THAT I AM Sanat Kumara and Holy Kumaras, by the authority of my office as Lord of the World and my chelas with me, let the judgment go forth of the conspirators against the Eternal Youth, the holy innocents, the Christed ones.
Thus, it is the decree of the Lord of the World that in this hour and year they shall not pass. They are bound by the fiat of the Cosmic Council. And all who raise the hand to harm one of these little ones1 shall now have the immediate return by the stream of fire of the Lord of the World of their own hate and hate creation. According to the will of the embodied chelas and Bodhisattvas, so it is done in the name of God - Elohim. And all who so call in my name shall be the instruments of my presence.
You have seen, beloved, the determination of Jophiel. Understand that there are literally millions of hosts of the Lord of the World who contain this same fiery determination.
Whence cometh the Light? The Light cometh from the far-off worlds, from the throne of glory, from the invisible, indivisible One and the soundless sound. The Light cometh because Sanat Kumara is here. He would speak now to you, beloved.
The Turning Point of Life on Earth:
A Dispensation of the Solar Logoi
Precious souls who have long endured the forgetfulness of samsara, I come to remind you of the hour of the consummation of our deliverance of earth. My counsel is that we must not postpone this day or think because it has been so long coming that it is always in the future. Those who do not desire to experience the reckoning of their deeds prefer to think in terms of tomorrow. But we understand as the Solar Lords of Flame that that which may appear as yesterday or a million years hence is in reality for us the now and the present.
Thus, I, Sanat Kumara, declare that in this hour is the deliverance of earth. The etheric matrix of the Central Sun is set as cosmic beings place an etheric matrix over the entire planet. This etheric sheath contains the record and blueprint of the original divine plan, its fulfillment, and added thereto all victories of all saints and early root races unto the present hour.
Understand that the etheric body of this planet has likewise been polluted by the fallen ones and the misuse of the sacred fire, by the rending of the garment and the forcing of the chakras. And thus, to see it is to see a once-and-former shell of light - betrapped, besmirched, gridded with darkness and record of war.
Thus, the Solar Logoi bequeath to the planet a new swaddling garment, a matrix very nigh the heart of God, that all might see and know in their finer bodies, as their own etheric body is purified, what is that acceptable destiny for this freedom star. The matrix itself - emerald, ruby, and sapphire, and the fourth, amethyst - provides a discipline and even a judgment. For the grid of Light is so powerful that many will not be able to go against the very presence of its force. Many will then turn to the path of purity and soul-searching. May they find interpreters of this octave and of the retreats.
This etheric sphere, beloved, makes vibrant and does intensify the etheric retreats and cities of Light. It does also activate and make light the chakras, as each one's karma does allow. The opportunity, then, beloved, to renew the golden age has never been greater than in this moment.
I who have known you in the vast forever, you who are my own bands who answered the call to come to earth2 - I must tell you that it is an hour when all that we have hoped for and dreamed for can be looked to and lowered into manifestation.
I must also tell you, beloved, that the pressure of so much Light pressing in upon a darkness untransmuted, unsurrendered in many lifewaves, as you well know, can also cause explosive types of situations as people feel they cannot escape their own substance which they do not surrender, and they feel they cannot escape the Light. Thus, for those who do not desire the Light, this sphere will be one of uncomfortability, one to which they are not accustomed. In other words, the Light is too bright for those who are of the Darkness.
Thus, expect chemicalization and saturate the earth with violet flame and protection as you have been doing. To continue these calls will provide heavenly beings with the wherewithal to enable earth to make this transition with the least burden of upheaval. We place great trust in the legions of the Holy Kumaras who accompanied me here so long ago. Our trust in you is great enough to give our assent to the Solar Logoi that such a gift could indeed be the turning point of life - a new life on earth, leaving behind the old.
This etheric sheath is itself a self-consuming, all-consuming presence - the fire that tries every man's karma, the fire that eliminates the unreal.3 Thus, let there be the thinning of the veils of illusion! I, Sanat Kumara, proclaim it. We shall not forever stay the hand of Mercy and allow our beloved to suffer, but we shall intensify Light and demand that choices be made now.
Sanat Kumara Stands before Every Lifestream on Earth:
"Choose You This Day Whom Ye Will Serve"
I, Sanat Kumara, place my Electronic Presence billions of times over in this moment. I now do stand before every lifestream upon earth and I say to each and every one: Choose you this day whom ye will serve.4 Lo! I unfold the record of all of thy incarnations of perfidy and folly. I demand the choice for right action, for love, for compassion. I demand obedience to the Law of the One and the Almighty God. I show you, each one, the consequences of continuing in the denial of the Divinity and I show you the opportunity to enter into oneness of eternal Life.
I show you once again the hosts of the LORD, the Great White Brotherhood, and the Messengers from the Sun. Heed our Word. Obey the Law of Harmony. Enter into communion with Life. Shun death and all evildoings, and thou wilt truly find thy habitation to be the eternal spheres.
I AM Sanat Kumara. I compel the earth's evolutions to rise to the center of the Higher Consciousness of the Universal Christ. I have kept the flame for you for millions of years. Now I demand the recompense. I demand that you keep the flame for me as the representative of God and that you keep the flame for this evolution, and that the divine plan be fulfilled. I extend the solemn warning that those who continue to use free will against the laws of God shall be cut off from the land of the living5 and have no further opportunity to realize God-Selfhood. For the hour has come for the Reckoning and it shall not be postponed. Therefore, choose Life and live forevermore.6
Beloved ones, my angels shall reinforce this message and even interpret and teach it to those who will not understand. For the same Cosmic Council who gave me the opportunity to be the Ancient of Days, the Guru for earth, has now decreed that the level of mankind's abominations and degradations is so great that the Law must act and compel cessation of darkness for the deliverance of the faithful and true. Therefore, they call a halt to the continued dispensation of freedom unto those who deny all others freedom and sow seeds of corruption in souls and bodies and minds.
As Above, so below. As God has spoken, so let the chelas respond and affirm this Word and this decree. And let everyone who is a son of God in the earth know that the science of the spoken Word is the power to transmit this decree of the Solar Logoi and the Holy Kumaras and the Lord of the World. And we bow before the Almighty and accept these judgments as the wisdom of the Universal God.
A Separate People, Elect unto God, Receive a Flame of Balance
Come apart, then, in the joy of the LORD to be that separate people elect unto God,7 that thou and thy household and thy loved ones might be protected in the day of the wrath of the avenging ones, who will not relent in their darkness but only seek to destroy as they themselves are self-consumed.
We come to place a flame of balance - balance of the threefold flame and balance of the cosmic scales - with each and every one of you. I place my aura around you secure, that you might be the Buddha and the presence of Gautama holding the balance of earth as the necessary step-up and changes take place.
I will leave off speaking with you now that I might place the oneness that I AM in the heart of the earth throughout the planetary body, containing it entirely in my own being. Thus, all who live here must deal with the consciousness of the Holy Kumaras, feel then the halter of the Law, the intensity of the Love, know the wisdom of God, and determine the course of their individual life action.
Gautama, my son, in our hearts' oneness, we endure unto the consummation of all cycles.
Noble knights and ladies of the flame, our beloved Sanat Kumara has revealed to us that which has been kept secret in the heart of the Solar Logoi. Thus, I, too, bask in the new glory of the New Day.
The Thoughtform for the Year 1985:
The Image of Planet Earth Restored
There is passed to me now from the Keeper of the Scrolls the scroll of the thoughtform for the year 1985. It is the image of planet Earth restored - karma balanced, axis straightened. It is sealed in the etheric sheath and thus appears as a shimmering sphere of light. The configurations of landmasses and seas are not exactly as they are today, signifying the true etheric matrix of that which is to be in the golden age.
Present in the canvas that is drawn, at the lower left, is an anchor, an anchor such as used by Maitreya in his clipper ship. It signifies the anchoring of planet Earth in the bedrock of Maitreya's consciousness. In the upper right corner are the scales, signifying the balance of all forces and karmic cycles.
In the lower right-hand corner is the sacred heart of the Christ, full blossoming with a fleur-de-lis and the white rose of the Mother. Diamond and bejeweled with the gems of the City Foursquare,8 this heart is the sign of the disciples of the path of the ruby ray who enter into the union of the cross of Sanat Kumara, Gautama, Jesus, and Maitreya.
And in the upper left-hand corner there is the image of the City Foursquare, the New Jerusalem that descends out of heaven9 as the etheric matrix lowered for the community of the Holy Spirit forged and won by the called-out ones. Beneath that symbol is the outline of the mountains of the Inner Retreat.
Thus, in these signs you may understand the mighty work of the ages of your souls to seal the earth in the bedrock of the path of Maitreya by the anchor itself for the conquest of sea and water. The balance that is held is in the Mind of God through the scales. The sacred fire of the heart is the victory of the Spirit as the Word made flesh. Fire in Matter signifies the union of heaven and earth in the chakra supreme in the body temple. And the descending city is the pattern and blueprint whereby the etheric octave becomes physical, proven once and then proven again and again as a formula of Life varying in each continent and place that shall spring up as the whole world receives the education of the heart.
May you pray for the precipitation of these four symbols in the hearts of all lightbearers, that the cardinal points of earth and the gates of the city might be kept.
As we have unveiled and seen with our eyes, beheld in the inner hearing of the ear, and witnessed this glory, understand that the height of eternal Life that is the gift of God must see the flushing out of Darkness. Thus, it is the year of the Four Horsemen and of the fourth.10 Life, then, in its intensity, must cancel out anti-Life.
Thus, this year is the death of unreality and ego-centered existence. Teach the people to separate themselves out from this consciousness and therefore live while the dying of the old self takes place. Be vigilant in the calls of the judgment of Death and Hell by my right hand, one with the hand of Mother Mary and your own. See, then, that the greatest Light must consume the greatest Darkness; and unless the intensity of the polarity be forthcoming, no flesh should be saved11 - nor spirits. Thus, when you make big calls for big eventualities, expect big dispensations and enter the consciousness of Sirius, the God Star.
Learn the soberness of life, even as the lilt of joy, the humor of the hour - especially, especially in the commeasurement of human nonsense, quite silly against the backdrop of the divine procession. We always retain the sense of joy and the twinkle in the eye of God that sees beyond the calamity, the temporary crisis, to its resolution and the far better experience of the soul in Light.
Let all agents and agencies of the Four Horsemen then be submitted to the judgment of the right hand of the Cosmic Virgin, and see how you clear the stables and the darkest places of the cellars of these leftover ghosts of Christmas past. In each of the four quadrants one of the horsemen rides to challenge the light of the etheric matrix there.
Blessed ones, I tell you a truth: It is easy to overturn them and unseat them! For I ask you whether it is greater a feat to bind a single ghost of unreality or ten thousand ghosts of unreality. Is not the zero the zero? The nonentity is the nonentity, whether it is multiplied a million times over.
It is the perception of the Son of God. There is a contact with the real matrix beyond the illusion; and when that contact is made, the entire procession of the not-selves must collapse. Thus, fear not the prophecies but fulfill the Judgment. And know that the etheric day and the golden age is alive now within your heart.
Thus, my message in this hour is one of Reality. Ere three months have passed from this day, a new vision will come to you personally. Thus, beginning in the sign of Aries, look for the vision of thine eye and the all-seeing eye. Prepare for it even now and attend the vision of thy God. For 1985 is the year of vision, and the precipitation of that vision is according to thy work and thy word.
And for the rest of my message, I leave it as an open book and a white page on which you shall write. For the great mystery and joy of the future lies in the exercise of free will by the Christed ones. So may you rejoice as co-creators with God. In the heart of the Saviour, thou, too, art Saviour. In the heart of the Redeemer, thou, too, art Redeemer.
Healers, then, of sacred fire, confrères of Raphael and Mother Mary, I, Gautama, commend you to thy meditation and delight in the Law of God. Truly in His love and our own, let us dwell together forevermore.
O sign of Infinity, seal now each forehead with the promise of eternal Life.
I AM with you alway. You may call me Father, Guru, Gautama, Buddha, brother, friend, child. In every face and light and eye, I present the lessons of 1985. I seal them and I reveal them step by step, one by one, unto your unfolding Cosmic Christ consciousness.
I expect the fruit of discrimination one year from today. May you bring it to the altar as a gift, showing forth the persistent pursuit of attainment in the discernment of the ways of God. Discrimination and discretion are the marks of the Bodhisattva.

Joy and Gratitude for Earth's Swaddling Garment
Beloved Alpha, beloved Omega, we express our utmost joy and gratitude to be the recipients of so great a gift as this new etheric body for our planet. We send our heart's fullness of light and love and joy - we send you all of our causal body. We ask you to use every erg of Good in our lifestream for the saving of this planet and the pursuit of your projects made known to us through all of our ascended brethren.
Beloved Alpha and Omega, you truly are near as heartbeat, yet far as distant star. And we see you in all ways and everywhere, and we are so grateful to be in your universe. Thank you for Sanat Kumara and Elohim and Archangels and Gautama Buddha, Maitreya, Jesus, El Morya, Saint Germain, beloved Jophiel and Uriel and all Archangels, and our dearly beloved Lanello, who has opened the door for our own Victory.
Therefore, Alpha and Omega, seal these hearts so joyous in the gratitude of the Lords of Karma. Seal them now as they are already sealed by the devotion of On High and here below.

This dictation by Gautama Buddha and Sanat Kumara was delivered through the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet at the midnight hour, Monday, December 31, 1984, during the 6-day New Year's Light of the World Conference, at Camelot. Devotees - each holding high a taper lit from the flame upon the Altar of Invocation - kept a candlelight vigil throughout the dictation.
