Chapter 40
Beloved Sanat Kumara - October 6, 1985

     "as a bride adorned for her husband."

     IX

     Take Thy Stand for Thy God

     And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

     And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

     And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

     So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

     And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

     Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. ... These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.¹ Zech. 4

     And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

     These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Rev. 11

     I, Sanat Kumara, seal this conference,

     Its conferees -

all lightbearers of a certain standard on earth:

     I seal you in my protection!

     I seal you to the greatest extent of my mantle!

     Be one-pointed. Persevere.

     Reach for the highest Light

     And accept no substitutes.

     Challenges will face you on the morrow -

     Stand staunch and you will triumph.

     Use all tools at your disposal:

the science of the Word,

the grasp of the heart and mind,

the ingenuity of the soul.

     Defend Truth and its representative,

     Defend thy Light,

     Take thy stand for thy God.

     For if thou shalt not, there is none other

who will rally to thy defense,

whether on earth or in heaven.

     The defenders of the Faith

will be defended by the faithful.

     Thus faith begets faith

     And the power of God is in its wake.

     And Charity intensifies transmutation of the heart

     And that expansion that is required.

     Be sealed then, for the dispensation has come,

though some, with all of our calls

and teaching and warning,

     Have still not prepared themselves.

     It could not wait: It does not wait.

     Therefore, run to greet thy God -

     And to keep up with Him.

     In the heart of the Mother I shall not fail thee.

     Wilt thou be faithful to the end? ["Yes!"]

     So thy Word is written carefully by recording angels

and others who now come to strengthen thee -

     Beloved of the Light.
