With the sign of Saint Francis, I, Raphael, come before you for the transfer of Light that is necessary from the very heart of the Archangels that you might compose for us a nucleus of Light, a mosaic of peace, and the activating principle of the white fire of purity unto the action that is required. We have assembled you and you have responded to the magnet of our heart. We come for renewal and a focalization of our messages released at the beginning of this year.
The Class of the Archangels has ramifications. And as you assimilate our Word out of the heart of Brahman, we may therefore extend, amplify, and crystallize those elements of those dictations that themselves are sealed, until by devotion the golden seal may be broken and the opening of the ampule of oil may reveal the descent of the balm of Gilead and of white fire for the return to Godhead.
Most blessed ones, devotees of the path of the Lord Christ East and West, I have heard the prayer of the righteous, I have heard the call of the unrighteous, I have heard the plea and the plea bargaining of the fallen ones with God. And I say his mercy does endure1 unto all who have sent forth mercy by answering the call.
As you have meted it unto life, so life metes unto you that portion, that cup running over of mercy's flame that is the softening of the garment and the penetration of the marrow of the bones and the purification of the blood and the clearing of the mind. Even so, violet flame from the heart of mercy is God's extension of another domain and dispensation for Lightbearers to amalgamate, to come together in the Inner Retreat, and to bequeath to life even those dispensations of the ongoingness of Truth.
For Truth is our banner. Truth is the healing unguent and the agent of the Holy Spirit. When you are immersed in the fires of Truth and all things within you are true to the plumb line of being, can aught else manifest, I say, than perfect health and wholeness?
Let us lay the foundation of Truth as master masons of old! By the Light of Godfre, even George Washington who laid the foundation of mystic masonry and led the cause of freedom in America, truly it is the building and the rebuilding of Solomon's temple and ultimately the pyramid of Self [that we are about].
Let the true masonic order arise as those who have come and reincarnated from the guilds of Europe and those who have been the builders of the great cathedrals. Let the engineers of the modern age arise. Let them design a temple [to accommodate] the very draft of the Holy Spirit and its descent from the [highest] point of Light. [Let the architecture be] for the entrapment, if you will, of the dove of the Holy Spirit in the physical temple itself.
Let those who pursue the understanding of spiritual engineering in Matter realize that dimensions, angles, and the mathematics of life are for the captivating in the molecules of Matter of the infinite frequencies of the stars. Of old the master masons learned the proportions of life that unleash the resurrection flame from within. And the Great Pyramid, revealing the course of events past, present, and future, is the great prophecy that time and space one day shall be no more and only the resurrection flame shall show the enduring Light of individual identity.
Let the lifestreams of the will of God who know that this earth must be transformed and [that] there must be an acceleration to the etheric plane also recognize that [through] the establishment of the New Age Community [at] the Inner Retreat there is a place infused with the violet flame and the emerald ray [for soul] transition [into successively higher planes of God-Self awareness]. These evolutions [who are of the First Ray of God's will and chelas of El Morya] will be among the first to transit from the more dense spheres to the etheric octaves without passing through the change called death - in fact, taking with them that which is of Nature, accelerating the very earth body, accelerating until [through them] the experience of all life becomes rarefied and purified because of the very acceleration of physical atoms.
When physical atoms are accelerated - death replaced by the living flame of Life - then, you see, old age, disease, and death can appear no longer. For the very quivering of the flame, the very vibrancy of the Spirit precludes the manifestation of that which is anti-Light. You might say the cause of the absence of wholeness upon earth is the deceleration to the point where vibration itself contains death rather than life because the quickening is not there. The very quickening of the Holy Spirit in Matter makes that Matter a vessel for the Holy Spirit alone, for the Divine Wholeness, for the eye of God manifesting!
Therefore understand the principle of the violet flame. For the transmutation of death in all of its many forms and the manifestation of life sets a new standard, a new experience, a new dimension. And in that plane there is no disease. For disease cannot exist where there is the purity of the Light any more than disease can exist in this octave when in the presence of the [antidote] that nullifies that very condition.
Thus, beloved ones, the very conditions of limitation are due to the allowance by those who have free will of [the human] experience and octave to fall beneath the level of the individual Christ Self of all. Now some of you have questioned your own ability to live in the plane of the Christ Self at all times. I tell you it is possible. [With God] all things are possible! And the very possibility of the permanent presence of your own Christ Self [manifesting] within you has been demonstrated by the saints and is demonstrated by those who walk the Path with you in the fullness of God-mastery.
I speak of the Messengers. I speak of the saints past and present and future. I speak of those who have truly become the Word made flesh. Look upon the example of Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha, Mother Mary, and even more modern saints and realize that they have been the Christ incarnate. And where they have been, miracles and healings of the Holy Spirit have occurred. Witness your own Saint Francis. Witness, then, the precious hearts of Light who have been luminaries by their very transparency.
Blessed ones, realize, then, that the sign of Saint Francis is the sign of the open door [through] the very heart and nexus of the cross for all who follow after him to realize that the fullness of his path is the Christ incarnate and [that] nothing less can fulfill the promise or the mighty work of the ages that he came to set forth.
Understand that this presence in the earth through you and through the Order of the Clares that is truly for the purification of all things is the means whereby an entire evolution may transit to that which is Real from the level of the Unreal. For all that is below the level of the heart of Christ is yet in that transient state of impermanence; but all that passes through the nexus of [the Sacred Heart, of] the fire of the fiery seraphim, [all that is purified by] the very Blood of Christ that is the essence of Alpha and Omega is here on earth to manifest that perfection by which the worlds were framed!
Realize, then, that this is a concrete proposal that I bring - that Christ be formed and reformed in you and that you realize that anyone or any institution that does not allow for the fullness of this divine expression within you is not affording you the opportunity to fulfill your inner vows made before the Lords of Karma and the living Saviour before your incarnation.
Remember, then, that the outer standards of the Franciscans, then and now, were not sufficient nor were they the epitome of that envisioned by Saint Francis. Thus that one passed from the screen of life [with a] broken heart [as did] his own Saviour. The breaking of the heart of the Son of God upon the cross of the crucifixion must not be in vain! It must be that those who follow [in his footsteps as disciples of the Word] recognize that first principles must be studied, they must be appropriated, [they must be embodied]. And all who walk truly after the Spirit must be of the independent sort that [Saint Francis] was, willing to reject anything and everything and all for that very present manifestation of Truth.
Truth is considered a questionable commodity even in the minds of those priests who in this hour consider that all things are yet relative. But, beloved ones, things are relative only as they relate to the absolute standard of the living Word. And that Logos has come, his voice has been heard, and his saints have embodied that Light!
Thus we see the Mystical Body of God and the Church Universal as the composite of the saints and not of those who have failed in the path of sainthood. Let us distinguish, then. Let us go where the doves have flown! Let us go to the heart of the Blessed Virgin who holds undiluted the promise of the fulfillment of the Community of the Light!
Let us go with Mary now in consciousness to the Inner Retreat. For this hour of the celebration of her Assumption is her manifestation of Victory. And in this twenty-four-hour cycle the Blessed Virgin has held, as I have held her hand, a mighty matrix for the descent into the physical octave in the Place Prepared of that opportunity for all who have been dissatisfied with compromise in institutionalized religion East and West. Here is the place where there are no holds, where there is only the undoing of the bar and the barrier, where all may experience the expansive Light and the regeneration, the rejuvenation of the joy of Christus.
Christus living within the temple - nothing less will suffice! This is the path of Mary. This is the path of those who would keep alive upon earth the true and the living witness of the Saviour and the witness of Buddha and the bodhisattvas and Zarathustra and of an undiluted sacred fire!
Do you wonder whether your four lower bodies can take the undiluted sacred fire of the saints of heaven? I tell you it is myth and old mythology to say that this is not allowed and that this is not the requirement of the hour. I say it is so! And all of you can become representatives of the Most High God, representatives of the Lord Jesus.
There is no intermediary necessary save Christ the Lord of your own temple. And therefore go through the High Priest that has ordained you to rise higher and higher than those matrices [hanging] over from previous ages and centuries which have closed over the portals[ - the gate to the city of Jerusalem now sealed - ]where once Christ walked in the fullness of his Great Causal Body of Light.2
Let there be the opening of the way! Let those who are disappointed in orthodoxy, both laymen and the priesthood, [come apart from] their disappointment and experience the new life and the new covenant! For the eighth covenant is upon us and it is the Light of the Ruby Ray. It is the fullness of the glory of Sanat Kumara!
Let there be a preaching of the Word to those who are bound in the shackles of a priesthood that no longer affords the full glory of the Light [of the Cosmic Virgin] to descend into the soul - a path that no longer proclaims the individual crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension for every humble soul of God, a path that does deny it, preferring one only in the place of the many who must now become the Body of the One upon earth [and in heaven].3
Let us not only repair the Church4 but let us build the new Church! Let the gates of the temple open wide! Let us experience the New Jerusalem! And let all who are of the Light fear not to come inside; for it is prophesied, for it is the gift of God of the ages.5
My heart moves through the saints East and West in their imploring of Almighty God for answers. There are many who dare not speak. Yet in their hearts the disappointment reaches momentums of despair and even that great heaviness of the spirit that comes to all who must be crucified again for the sake of the Living Witness.
Blessed hearts, there are those who have accepted the barriers and who cannot understand how to burst through the doors and open wide the gates to receive the Saviour who is still outside of the great cathedrals of the world. For he would not be admitted in this hour, beloved ones, even as Lord Gautama himself is [in some quarters]denied entrance into the temples of the Buddha [and Buddhism].Do you not realize this? [It is because] those [of East and West] who worship this day wish for the most part to worship at a point where their own understanding has remained in a comfortability. But, beloved ones, the acceleration [afforded by the Ascended Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Ascended Master, the Lord Gautama Buddha] is unheard of and unknown [midst their orthodox followers].
And therefore I bid you understand that [in] this hour Christ the Lord is not welcome in his own Church, whether of orthodoxy, whether of Catholicism or of the Protestant churches. Had it been so, [had my Son been allowed to preach openly in their midst and from their pulpits,] there should be a manifestation on earth [today] for the overthrow of the entire conspiracy of Antichrist. Let it be said that there are hearts pure and perfect within the Church; and yet many of those who control the release of Light are not of the Light but are wolves in sheep's clothing.6
Therefore we have come on the outside ourselves to build again, to assemble the remnant seeking not the approval of outer councils but the inner approval of the Holy Spirit. And this, then, must be the sign of the acceptable offering, the sign of the Holy Spirit's descent upon you.
The Holy Spirit will stand with a great measuring rod and with a sacred fire! And only when the inner Light reaches that certain crescendo will the fullness of the Holy Ghost be poured out upon you as the sign of the approval of the Light and the approval of the presence of Truth within the abode of the temple of God. Realize, then, that no mere mortal, whether the individual or the collective councils of Church and State, may approve the heart that is pure before God.
Let those who have a mission upon earth in this hour have the courage, then, to leave the old boundaries and to ascend in this hour with my own beloved Mary. I bid you ascend with her!
Ascend the mount of your individual transfiguration! Ascend the mount, then, of the Inner Retreat! Ascend the mount of the builders who fear not to build that which is a temple where God may be glorified because it is a temple of the heart. [This inner temple is] reflected in the outer building that is necessary for the sheltering of the Ark of the Covenant and the Word and the Law and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters that shall remain - even as the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus does remain - as the sign of the inner alchemist and of the outer alchemist who has attuned with the inner Light.
The mysteries of God are in the heart of Mary. And the heart of Mary will speak to all who are inclined toward the purity of the virgin vessel. In this hour of world tribulation, in this hour of the tribulation7 of the saints, let us pray together. Let us commune together. Let us break the bread of Life. And let us understand that God has purposed to accomplish his purpose in you in this hour!
Your perception of Truth, your sensing of the Divine Light and the eternal Love Flame, your sensing of the Great White Brotherhood and the angels that surround you, [your] sensing of the continuity of this Body of God, [your] sensitivity to Alpha and Omega - all this is yours, experienced in the heart of the Mother Flame, experienced in the heart of the saints who are with you!
This sensitivity to universal Life is strengthening, opens up the orifices of vision, even the third eye, that you may behold reinforcements of the Lord who has come to take his Church unto himself, to take his Body unto himself, and to receive the waiting bride8 as the soul perfected in Love.
O walk the true Path, my beloved! Be undaunted! And fear not the judgment of those who have never yet entered into the secret chamber of the heart though they may be your superiors in life.
Therefore, let the Christ arise. Let the Christ in you rise to overthrow the lordship of the fallen ones whose judgment has come! But though their judgment come, they are unwilling to give their place, to cede their throne to the Lightbearer. Therefore they must be unseated. Therefore the Faithful and True and the armies of heaven9 come forth to instate the servant of the Most High God in the occupation of the transparency of the Emerald Matrix. Be the transparency of the Blessed Mother! Let the Light flow through you!
And now go forth, my Son. Go forth to be the comforter unto brothers and sisters on the path of Light. Be the comforter [comforting them with the good news] that, yes, indeed, God is come to earth and the Lord Christ has called his own. There is redemption. And the holy orders are instituted once again, based upon the Body and the Blood of Christ, based upon the true communion [of saints and the Holy Communion celebrating Christ's Body and Blood manifest in his Church], based upon the living seraphim who appear once again to announce to each one, as they announced to Francis of old, the supreme initiation of the stigmata.10
Understand that this stigmata does occur in this hour at the etheric level in the etheric body that there might be a witness upon earth by the living saints of the perpetual crucifixion of the Lord until the hour of the return and the salvation of all who are the children of the Light. Therefore, behold flaming seraphim! Behold thy Saviour! Behold, thy Redeemer liveth!11
And therefore because it is true and because I, Raphael, Archangel of the Fifth Ray, have come to you as the servant of the Most High God, as the servant of your own Mighty I AM Presence and [of] Christ, the Lord of your temple, you can overcome! You can bring healing to the Body of God who know not the way to turn! You can bring healing and enlightenment to all those who are the representatives of Christ upon earth.
My beloved, I hold the vision before you of one, one servant of God in great pain and burden - the one who is pope in this hour.12 I hold before you that vision, for it is a crucifixion that is also for the world and for the body of saints. But, beloved, it is a crucifixion without the full understanding consciously of all that is involved in the salvation, the healing, and the transmutation of the planetary body.
Each soul in his hour receives that Light of the crucifixion. But those who have the gift of the violet flame and the gift of the science of the spoken Word and the wielding of the sword of the Spirit may go forth in the name of Mary, conquering in Christ's name, and therefore not be bowed down physically but actually [be] regenerated by the sacred fire renewed in the healed etheric body, walking the earth in the etheric plane and in the etheric consciousness, conquerors of life, conquerors of Death and Hell, reinforcements of the Word, and duplicates one by one, as the Electronic Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ manifests where they are.
I say, then, great changes are coming upon the earth and upon the institution of the Church. Stand firm. Be ready and hold the line of life. Hold high the cosmic cross of white fire. And the ministering angels of the Ruby Ray and the white fire cross shall be unto all of the saints of good cheer and saints of good courage the illuminating Light, the powerful Light, the transforming Light!
For some must come apart and be separate from that very institution which must go through the throes of change, of transmutation, of a burning heat, of the melting of the elements of consciousness,13 and a reforging of vessels that can receive the fullness of the sacred fire necessary for the bringing in of the great golden age.
I say go before the saints of earth. Clear the pathway! Call the brothers! Call the sisters! Call the Lightbearers! And let them come apart and let them lay the foundation that must be built. For when the temple comes tumbling down, as there was the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, the alternative must already be set lest the weaker souls be lost; for they know not the way to go and they cannot see their shepherd.
Let them see the shepherd through you, my beloved. Let them see that all is well and Christ the King does reign as the head of his Church. Let them know that God has already provided the answer, that the alternative is set, and that the way to the Inner Retreat is the way to the heart of the Blessed Virgin.
I commend you unto the keeping of the Lord Christ and his Holy Spirit. I commend you into the communion of the saints of the Great White Brotherhood. I commend you unto the peace of God and the new mission that is before you.
I seal you in the Emerald Matrix of your own Christ Self. I say let it be. Let it appear. Let it unfold. Let it crystallize! And may you be and become all that God has in store for you, all that thou art, all that God was and is from the beginning unto the ending of your divine manifestation.
I AM Raphael. I AM the angel of healing. I AM the consort of Mary. And we have not left the earthly scene nor the true Church nor shall we leave it unattended. We are the votive Light. We are the Keepers of the Flame of immortal Truth. Together we stand upon the Rock. Stand with us, for it is the hour in which we win! And we win all the way for the perfection of the Mother Light in every soul of her heart upon earth.
O company of the faithful, come to our Heart! Come to our Heart! We would renew the faithful with the healing balm of Light.

This dictation by Archangel Raphael was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Sunday, August 16, 1981, 1:58-2:40 p.m. PDT, during the four-day seminar Emerald Matrix: The Perfect Light held at Camelot, Los Angeles County, California.
"Francis left the town one day to meditate out-of-doors and as he was passing by the church of San Damiano which was threatening to collapse with age, he felt urged to go in and pray. There as he knelt in prayer before a painted image of the Crucified, he felt greatly comforted in spirit and his eyes were full of tears as he gazed at the cross. Then, all of a sudden, he heard a voice coming from the cross and telling him three times, `Francis, go and repair my house. You see it is all falling down.' Francis was alone in the church and he was terrified at the sound of the voice, but the power of its message penetrated his heart and he went into an ecstasy. Eventually, he came back to himself and prepared to obey the command he had received. He was quite willing to devote himself entirely to repairing the ruined church of San Damiano, although the message really referred to the universal Church which Christ `won for himself at the price of his own blood' (Acts 20, 28), as the Holy Spirit afterwards made him realize and he himself explained to the friars. ...
"Francis set about repairing the church in obedience to the command he had received from the Cross. He had absolutely nothing to start with, but he devoted himself to the task wholeheartedly, loading his own back with stones, although he was worn out with fasting. He begged help in the form of alms from those among whom he had lived as a wealthy young man, and he was not ashamed. People eventually came to help him in their devotion to him, because they could see already that his was no ordinary holiness. With their cooperation he repaired the church of San Damiano and another dedicated to the Prince of the Apostles, followed by a third dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, all of which were abandoned and in ruins. In this way the work which God afterwards planned to accomplish through him on a spiritual plane was mysteriously foreshadowed in a visible, material fashion. Like the three churches he repaired, the universal Church of Christ was to be renewed in three different ways under his guidance and according to his directions, his rule and teaching. The voice which he heard from the Cross, which repeated the command to repair God's house three times, was a prophetic sign which we now see fulfilled in the three Orders14 which he founded."15
