The circle of the One is closed. And I AM come for the closing and for the opening of the circle that is become the cosmic sphere.
I greet you, fellow chelas of the will of God, for I AM ever the devotee of the diamond-shining mind of God. I come for endings and new beginnings and a thrust for a purpose - and Lanello with me. Therefore we three in hierarchy are complete.
Our eye is upon India and the transfer of the resurrection light a decade hence into the very heart of the land of the mahatmas. Blessed ones, this occasion of our coming with the band of devotees1 is for reinforcement and an eleventh-hour distribution of the light.
And so, in our graduation exercises we find a new student - a new student as the initiate of the sacred fire of Maitreya. We find that devotees of Maitreya are rising to form the petals of a golden yellow cosmic rose. We discover that this era portends a light kindling out of the East, out of the original flame of Gautama, out of the very fire of Maitreya and the World Mother.
Indeed the decade of the eighties is for us the opening of a monumental work whereby we shall deliver to the chelas of God's will, as God wills it so and our instruments are sharpened and ready, such a treatise on light and life and the historical principles of Sanat Kumara as to clearly show the cosmic highway and the path that leads to it from earth to the sun.
I speak for those who listen well, who have followed me for centuries, who have been called, who have heard long ago the call of Darjeeling. Those who have been a part of our Brotherhood now stand to place the capstone on the Great Pyramid of our endeavor - thus the converging in India of many lifestreams ascended and unascended. And we are grateful that many of you are thrilled by the pull of the heart and the promise of all that is to be accomplished there.
It is best to make merry of the human condition in India - not to be so concerned with the outer manifestation but to probe the heart, to search out the ones who are the fiery souls. All that takes place in that mighty subcontinent and in our Himalayan retreats is certainly not reflected in the masses of the people, and it is ever so in any civilization.
The inner currents of the flow of Life and the mighty River of Life2 actually are a part of the Ganges, and this is not mere legend. Great mysteries out of the mystical past reveal that upon this soil many have passed the dimensions out of time and space into nirvana, into octaves of cosmic consciousness. Thus there are well-traveled routes in the ethers, and the akashic records bear testimony of holy ones who lived there when the rest of the world was in a primitive state.
There are well-traveled highways in the astral planes as well, and you might imagine that absolute Evil juxtaposed with absolute Good are to be found there. But the messengers, in their service a decade ago, went forth for the binding of many who set themselves across the path of our Brotherhood and have prevented, prior to that hour, a greater understanding from manifesting through our work of the previous century. Thus we go forth again to tend the flame, to bind the fallen ones, and to seal those astral pathways that the children of the light might not mistake them for the vertical lines leading to the inner planes.
What is most important to the children of God who journey there in the name of our Brotherhood is that you realize that the science of the violet flame and of the mighty I AM Presence is far superior to anything else that has been revealed. There are alluring paths of breath and meditation and all sorts of physical exercises for the Kundalini and otherwise. But we say to you that the path of the higher way of the action of the sacred fire is all-consuming. It is the ascended master version of raja yoga. Therefore let none be deterred on these lesser paths that were for lesser centuries and previous dispensations.
It is you who bring the light to India. It is you who make the connecting point to the inner retreats of the Great White Brotherhood. And most of the masses of the people and even the learned, the erudite, and the pundits have no knowledge of our bands. Thus it is ever so that those who somehow feel they have the greatest tradition of understanding miss the very simple principles and techniques. For they, preserving the past, often fail to update their God-realization with the new currents. As in any field, they become accustomed to their rituals, to their mantras, and to the comfortability in the vibrations to which they are accustomed. Thus when the new currents come they feel self-satisfied in that which they have been given.
Thus it is prophesied that out of the West, out of the very frontiers of cosmic consciousness shall come the image and the presence of the World Mother as the Saviouress to deliver unto that nation the teachings that shall be for the deliverance of this people of Lemuria.
I confirm therefore that this is the mission of the coming of the messenger - and nothing less. And therefore it is the mission of the chelas of the will of God. You must realize that your intimate connection with the Divine Mother makes you her instruments, her messengers, her forerunners, and the communicators of her Word unto these children of the Mother.
All is in readiness. Out of the teeming millions of those who are evolving there, we have selected our bands. We have selected our chosen ones, and they are waiting for the contact. Initial contacts will be made on this journey, but the follow-up will occur according to the cycles of the logical unfoldment of the seven rays penetrating the cities and the remote regions.
It is most important that you cooperate in your calls to Chananda, to me, to Kuthumi and Djwal Kul, to Serapis Bey, the Great Divine Director and Saint Germain for the coordination of the divine plan for all of India and all America as one. Let us then superimpose India on the map of the United States. Let us realize the fusion of these hearts, East and West, as the mighty fusion of twin flames. Let us understand that there is a cosmic timetable and that the dates are important. And therefore there is no question in our hearts that this thrust for a purpose will be God-victorious. It is, however, dependent upon the response of our chelas.
I listened with great intent to the message of God Harmony,3 and I determined to take up his recommendation and to recommend it to you. Therefore, twofold are you responsible unto the law for testing the capacity of your own soul and chakras to retain the action of God's will that I have made my will, for those who will increase the blue lotus flower and the love of Himalaya will find themselves greater and greater instruments of this fusion of light.
Beloved hearts, you know the connection between the Himalayas and Lake Titicaca and the service of Himalaya and the God and Goddess Meru. Understand, then, that a wedge of light in India and in America will stop the whirling of planetary astral forces round and round and beating against the borders of the United States. Thus we set ourselves to a mighty purpose to stop the advance of World Communism.
As Afghanistan is near to Pakistan and Pakistan is near to India, you can see that the all-devouring dragon of World Communism would certainly like to devour everything in its pathway. The Middle East is seen as more expedient by the Soviets, and yet there is India - a nation waiting to be conquered, from their standpoint. We desire to see the saving of India from that fate which came upon China and Mother Russia.
Some of our best servants went down in those hours of the revolution and take-over - great initiates, adepts of the sacred fire. Beloved hearts, these souls abide in inner retreats or have reincarnated, and yet in the process of reincarnation they must follow certain steps to bring to their outer awareness the fullness of the God-identity. For many, the age of forty is reached before the full realization of who I AM is come. For the Lord Jesus Christ, it was the age of thirty when in the fullness of that cosmic mission he identified his being and consciousness as the World Saviour.
Individuals must grow to this understanding of Selfhood. We send the warm sun of our light to hasten the growth but never to force it. And we, having observed chelas of the ages, do not allow our servants, even our best servants, to skip those necessary steps which will firmly anchor certain keys of the will of God. Those who are our best servants - and we count you in this category - therefore gladly submit to inconveniences and personal distressing conditions for the sake of soul evolution.
We come out of the East. Our philosophy is never happiness and the good life to the exclusion of cosmic purpose. We have a saying: A little pain is the spice of life and helps the digestion of a greater cosmic good. And thus pain is simply the understanding of the absence of a higher bliss; and by the transmutation of pain, many lessons are learned.
We seek to make you the wise ones, and therefore we must place you in contact with all sorts of conditions and personalities that you might incorporate into your being a razor-sharp mind for the penetration of the human circumstance and dilemma. After all, when we send you around the earth, when we send you forth from Camelot to the next town we realize that you will come face to face with the powers of this world who have been determined to overthrow Gautama, the Lord Jesus Christ, and many of the avatars who have come and graced our soil.
You are tied to a tree of Life4 that has many branches and to a cosmic source. They seek to discredit and destroy that tree and its branches in the earth. And therefore even the newest chelas must stand upon the faith of the tube of light, calls to Archangel Michael, and that security that comes out of love of God and obedience to all of his commands.
We would not have you ignorant concerning these things. Therefore we never place our chelas in incubators. We allow you to come in contact with the most deadly poisons, the engines of war - vibrations that are destructive, to say the least. You must be able to measure and gauge these vibrations and determine what invocation, what manifest light of God is able to consume it, to turn it back. And of course there are those frightening conditions of horror that come out of the astral plane, either in the waking or the dream state, whereby individuals may try and test their swords.
All of this for a cosmic purpose, for we know where the Path will lead before the hour of your ascension. And when we have so many best servants in the earth, is it not a consideration that we should make a mighty effort to clear the earth for the children of God who will come with less experience because they will be of more recent evolutions?
Thus we would implant the pillars of sacred fire firmly in India and in the United States. And when we have set those pillars, we will continue in a logical formation and pattern around the earth. These are most critical.
Beloved hearts, many of the etheric retreats of our Brotherhood are now over soil geographically controlled by the Communists.5 We would not desire to see this occur in India and thereby cut off all the light that flows to the pilgrims of the world and to have that which is of the grace of the Almighty under the mechanization and totalitarian regime of the fallen ones. It is unthinkable, and truly our light is a stronghold. But I also tell you, though there be adepts who keep the flame in the octaves of Matter, there are also in India today less devotees than ever before. Many have been swept away by modernization and civilization. Therefore India is a dry and parched land spiritually, at some levels, and requires the great infusion of Saint Germain's light.
When earlier in this century I contacted Mark to be my amanuensis, I looked forward to the hour when all that he would accomplish would be transferred to our land by the blessed Mother. Thus this hour is come and I have the very good fortune to conclude this conference, to close the circle of fire, and to send you forth to India and all of you to your home of light. You have an invitation from Chananda and from me to frequent our retreats during the coming fourteen-day cycle of the journey that we may all gather together in the etheric octave and, saluting the Mother and the chelas, dedicate India to a new and higher way.

Truly a new era is begun, and the children of the resurrection flame fly with the sun to deliver that flame of Christ risen to all the world.
