It is meet for thee to command the rebellious spirits within and without, abroad in the world, in the words of the Lord Christ: "Thou shalt worship the LORD thy God, and him only shalt thou serve!"1 for this he said to Satan who did tempt him with the power and the glory of the kingdoms of this world.
Ambition and the pride of ambition have led even the children of God to stray from the straight and narrow path of initiation in the white light of the Mother. Always and always the treacherous deceptions of the carnal mind are based on its dissatisfactions with its position in time and space. Yet even the mendicant who is content with rough garment, begging bowl, and sandals must beware of ambition for spiritual power - and material power as well.
We see the positionings of the children of God side by side with the children of the devil.2 And often their outer appearance belies either the truth or the error of their state of consciousness, as the case may be. What was the difference between the offerings of Cain and Abel, whose material efforts and accomplishments were equal side by side?
One came with the offering unto the LORD God - the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof - to glorify his name, I AM THAT I AM. For out of his love of the LORD, translated by the Holy Ghost into a sacred labor, his offering was endowed with a living flame.
The other came with his offering of the fruit of the ground, forged out of an efficiency and even a mechanical perfection born of a spiritual/material pride and the determination to exceed the humble offering of the son of God. And so the offering of Cain which lacked the living flame of love was rejected by the LORD because of the impure motive of his heart; for it was to the glory of the self, the lesser ego, instead of to the glory of the Great Ego, the Universal AUM.3
Likewise, the Tower of Babel was constructed for spiritual as well as material power. And when the sacred fire of God's all-consuming love descended, it confounded the speech of the seed of the wicked as well as that of the children of God who had been enticed by their unbridled desire for world power. That was the sacred fire of judgment released from the heart of the LORD who, in the person of Archangel Chamuel, "came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men builded."4
Indeed that judgment which produced the confounding of their language and their scattering abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth was the white light of the Mother, the energy of Alpha and Omega in a descending spiral of ineffable love that could be received only by those who retained within their own hearts that corresponding love of God.
The light of God's judgment is simply and completely, my beloved, the descent of the harmony of the Father-Mother God, which harmony is always Love intensifying unto love and to love and to love, and confounding the discord and the dissonance of inharmony. The pure in heart, therefore, not only see God but in seeing him are able to receive that great light of the judgment and retain it, thus adding to the dimensions of earth a greater and greater concentration of the light of heaven.
Why, the very nature of the sons and daughters of God is the great sphere of cosmic consciousness called the T'ai Chi, which illustrates the plus/the minus, the masculine/the feminine, polarity of Alpha and Omega. This great sphere of Universal Being is twofold in nature: it is first the great causal body in heaven and then the sphere within the heart that contains the Flame of Life, the threefold presence of power, wisdom, and love which always includes the Person of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The soul whose delight is in the law of the LORD God, I AM THAT I AM, his own beloved Presence, the soul who meditates upon the Law of the One, the Law of Love, "day and night" as the Psalmist wrote,5 opens the floodgates of being to the great sphere of this universal reality and to the concentric energies of the solar rings that comprise, layer upon layer, the great causal body of its own individual God Presence.
As the causal body is in balance in the masculine and feminine principle of being, so is the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God intended to be in time and space. Within the white fire core of the I AM Presence is both the Person of the blessed God Self and the Principle of the white light, Alpha and Omega. The surrounding balance of the rainbow rays is the Omega, or feminine, extension of the masculine, or Alpha, center.
And throughout all of nature, in Spirit and in Matter, the pattern of the T'ai Chi, of the Alpha-to-Omega and of the Spirit/Matter universes, is repeated again and again. This illustrates the simplicity of cosmic geometry - that the seed of Light, the nucleus of God's energy, always contains both the masculine and the feminine particles of the Person of God.
In the planes of Spirit it can be demonstrated that Matter, or Mother, is dormant within Spirit, or Father, whereas in the outer universes of time and space it is Mother, or Matter, who is the active counterpart of Spirit as the Shakti, or energy, of Father. Nevertheless, in all planes of heaven and earth, Life is one, Life is whole, Life is complete. There is no separation from God - from the God Self, from the Person of the Lord Christ or the beloved twin flame.
This statement of the Law as the Principle of your being contains the seed within it, my beloved, of your own healing of the sense of separation, of fragmentation of the body of God, and of the gnawing sense of incompleteness which the children of God often allow themselves to entertain, thereby leaving open the back door of consciousness for the demons of temptation to enter.
And upon entering, their vain talk and proud boasting is always of the alternative route to the acquirement of a power that promises contentment through worldly success, riches, authority, prestige, and position. Thus is ambition born of the ignorance of the Law concerning a wholeness that is even now your very own reality, my beloved.
Be at peace, then, in the great mystery of the wholeness of being; and contemplate how profound is the peace of the man or woman who has found the True Self in God. The one who meditates upon this law discovers that with the opening of the floodgates of consciousness, the sphere of the heart - which contains the potential for every son and daughter of God to become God incarnate - now expands and expands and expands. And life on earth becomes life in heaven here and now because first things are first.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you"6 was the living proof and the example of Jesus Christ who is the Saviour because he has saved your souls, my beloved, for the entering in to the path of Christhood - which he opened and which no man can shut.7 No man can shut that door once you have determined to be God in action here and now, everywhere and anywhere.
Yes, take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea.8 Glide in the heart of the gulls and soar with the eagles into the highest mountains. Be God in the love of elemental life and in the animal kingdom, nurturing their newborn with the coming of the spring. Enter atoms and molecules of a pounding surf and know the limitless power of creation available to those who in all humility have made themselves co-creators with God because he first made them so to be.
Wherever life is, God is, and there you can be in consciousness, if you will it so. There you can be the integral law of the Father undergirding a universe, or the Son as the wise dominion of those whom he has anointed to be rulers of the vast dominions of time and eternity.
And behind the grasses that grace the winds and the stars of energy that regulate the interstellar exchange of Spirit and Matter, there you can be - one in the love of the Holy Spirit who is the rhythm and movement, the very comfort of the whole creation that groaneth and travaileth in pain to be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.9
Whereas the cult of success and the conquest of egos by other egos has been offered by the fallen ones as the panacea for all discontent, God is the universal cure of the ailment of the soul alienated from the Person of its own Christhood. Your blessed Christ Self is the one who integrates your soul with the Presence of God. Jesus Christ demonstrated that integration, being full of the Holy Ghost, being one with the Father, being the Word incarnate.10
His illustration of the law of self-sufficiency in God is indeed the cure for every attitude of selfishness and self-concern at the foundation of the modern cults of idolatry. These outlets for ego expression are a dime a dozen. Everywhere in the marts of commerce are the strutters who dance and prance with their tin and tinsel toys, leading the poor with promises of salvation to squander their light and energy on vanities of both Spirit and Matter. That light - they know it not, alas - could be the very instrument of their salvation.
Let all who approach the path of the white light understand that the goal is the assimilation of the soul into the Great God Self. It is the integration of the Father-Mother principles of being as the true identity of self and of wholeness. It is the ascension of being from the Matter universe you have known to a Spirit universe which you once knew. It is the goal of desirelessness come full circle to be the desire of God.
Let all who come this way - the way of the Great White Brotherhood11 outlined as the path of the Master-disciple relationship - know that all lesser goals will be dashed upon the rocks of their own human ambition upheld by their own human habit.
Ye cannot serve Light and Darkness or God and mammon,12 nor can ye come to the fount of Reality or to the retreats of the ascended masters seeking our stamp of approval upon your humanly engineered projects for personal self. We will not place our label of the cosmic honor flame upon your brand of human perfection that has failed to submit to the Person of Christ.
You need not don your white garments to disguise the ravening wolves that lurk within as the untransmuted demons of desire for personal power and prestige.13 And if you come to the altar of the Holy of Holies expecting to be filled with light, be forewarned, one and all, that the all-consuming love of God will be the challenge of the judgment, in order that you might choose this day14 between your own inner reality and the unreality of these most treacherous impostors of the Christ.
I AM Gabriel, the servant of God in his sons and daughters. I offer to you, in answer to your call to me - to be given in the name of the I AM Presence and the Christ Self - the full momentum of my own attainment of purity for the purification of motive and desire, of heart and soul, that you might come into the true path and that your offering of self and selfhood might be the expression of the sweet love of God endowing the sacred labor with the flame of your adoring.
