As the Messenger of Peace returns to the Heart of God, there flows from the organ at Shigatse the melody of his soul that is a flowing stream of Life and of peace triumphant.
Take, then, this proffered gift that comes from the angel who declared to Magdalene, "He is not here, for he is risen."1 Take the gift of peace from the Elohim of Peace and his divine complement, Aloha, from Uriel the Archangel and his Aurora. For in the heart of the Prince of Peace and those who have served with him down through the ages is the healing of a world weary from war, weary from exploitation, degeneration, and the madness and melodrama of calculated chaos.
Christ walks upon the hillsides today as he did two thousand years ago, and the angels of peace that accompany him do minister unto the hearts of the few and the many that are ready to be molded in the divine design. They sing a song in bands and strands of glory: "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"2 They sing of Mark, whom they call the Mother of the Ark,for he nourished the flame of the ark of the covenant and drew therefrom the eternal message of salvation to God's chosen people.
I knew him as Bonaventura! As a small boy he was healed in answer to my prayer when as Francis of Assisi I received him from a mother who sought divine intervention for her son. The Light that flowed from God that day restored him instantly to radiant health, and I saw prophetically the mighty work God has in store for him. In the presence of that power from on high I could only exclaim, "O buona ventura!" And so he was called from that time on.3 As a young man totally dedicated to God, he joined our order and became a brilliant light focusing the flame of illumination upon the teachings of Christ throughout the Church where he is known to this day as Doctor Seraphicus.
I come to you then with the eternal message of peace because there is a rumbling in the earth and a rumbling among the dark ones thirsty for the blood of the children of Light. Will you let them continue their slaughter of the holy innocents or will you challenge their darkness and put them to flight?
It is time that the sons and daughters of God who know that they are sons and daughters4 of God shall stand up and be counted among those who challenge the rising tides of darkness. And why do they rise, blessed ones? Because the Light has increased in the heart of the World Mother in manifestation here below. An intangible manifestation there is aglow, a candle that has become a mighty torch of illumination to this age. And as the Light increases, so the darkness clamors for recognition and the dark ones rattle their sabers.
But in the heart of the Light which they have misqualified is the very Presence of God, for God is Light. And He is the Life of every manifestation, whether it be classed as good or evil; for the energy that mankind have used to spawn a shadowed veil is His energy. Therefore in addition to the tides of darkness that rise to counteract the Light, there is a vortex of darkness that builds around every focus of Light because the white fire core of the energies of which the darkness was created seeks to be free. Hence misqualified energy is this very hour rushing into centers of Light around the world to be set free.
Is it any wonder, then, that our just stewards who tend the Flame, priests and priestesses of the Sacred Fire, should have a moire than ordinary challenge, a more than ordinary task in this hour of the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, when all things are in a state of flux and mankind have the opportunity of the millennia to merge with the Great Light and to be co-creators with the Peaceful One - with God Himself, who stands in the center of the Flame which they invoke, calling His children Home?
The tiny electron, the atoms and molecules - all energy is called Home. And where is Home? Home is where you make it. Home is in the Flame you have invoked; for every Flame is a focus of the Central Sun from whence you came, one and all, and whither you shall return. The voice of God, as the voice of one crying in the wilderness5 of man's miscreations, calls Home His energy, His children, His angels and elementals - all who are a part of His vast Being.
Be not dismayed, then, that when you invoke the flame of peace, chaos pursues; when you invoke the flame of love, hatred comes knocking at the door; when you raise on high the torch of illumination, darkness and ignorance surround thee. These negative energies ought to be welcomed and put to the torch with the same joy that you feel when you rake a pile of leaves and set a match to them and watch them as they glow and burn and are no more. God's energy must be freed if mankind are to transcend and transmute the karma that must be balanced before the Golden Age can fully manifest. God's energy must be made free through you who live to keep the vigil with the Brothers in White.
I am known as a Master of peace, but I prefer to be called simply a brother of the Golden Robe. That holy order which was founded long ago by one who saw true knowledge as the peace that passeth understanding6 still functions today; and we count among our band Ascended Ones who have espoused the golden flame of illumination as a means of imparting peace to mankind as well as those unascended brothers and sisters who desire to become the peaceful presence of His wisdom to all mankind.
We are looking for recruits. Therefore I write to you to apprise you of the fact that there are openings in our chambers, in our libraries, and in our retreats - openings for those who diligently call and are willing to be the allness of the All to hearts hungry for the Flame, never chary. Yes, we have openings for those who are not chary in their use of the Flame as they call with a mighty fervor upon His name.
I AM the golden flame of peace.
I AM illumination's sweet release.
I AM the fires of Central Sun.
I AM the Christ, the Immaculate One
Come forth from Cosmic Virgin
To call Her children Home,
To speak of Her great love,
To make Her diadem known.
For those who yet question
The reality of God -
O God, I will take action!
For them I come to walk the earth,
To preserve the worth
Of all whom thou shalt give to me
As Thou gavest to the Son of God
A portion of Thy fold
To garner and to mold,
To win them for the Mighty One
And return them to the Central Sun.
I, Kuthumi, call my own.
As Jesus said,
"My sheep know my voice."7
I send forth the call
North, south, east, and west
To all who desire to be blessed
And to bless with oil of illumination's flame,
To teach men how to play the game -
Of life, you know.
For mankind dwelling here below
Know not that earth's schoolroom
Or that they come to learn
The three R's of self-mastery:
Of reading the Law of Life within the Mind of God,
Of writing the Law of Life within the mind of man.
And the 'rithmetic of the Law is the equation
Of God becoming man
And man becoming God.
If you would attend
Our university of the Spirit
To learn the way
To teach men how to pray,
Then I say, call to me
And ask the angelic hosts
To accompany you to my retreat in Kashmir. and we shall receive you here
To hear the Word -
Not mine alone,
But of the Masters of the Himalayas,
Who have outlined
A course of instruction
For the teachers of the race.
This is our offering
In this troubled time,
An opportunity for you
To make the world sublime
And in so doing to climb,
To climb the highest mountain
Of the Summit of your Being
That leads you to your fellowman.
In being your brother's keeper,8
You will see unfold the plan
Whereby you, too, can ascend
At the close of this embodiment
And return, a warrior of peace, to the Heart of God.
The pathway of service and ministration
Through peace and illumination
Is open!
Come with me, take my hand,
And explore a new land
Where heaven and earth meet
And the Son of God - the Light of man -
Stands upon the hillside to welcome you
With ten thousand of his saints.
I AM your Brother of the Golden Robe of Illumination,
Note: Kuthumi, also known as the Master K.H., holds the office of World Teacher jointly with Jesus. Among his embodiments were those of Pythagoras, Balthazar (one of the three wise men), and Saint Francis of Assisi. He is the Hierarch of the etheric Temple of Illumination in Kashmir and heads the Order of the Golden Robe; he also maintains a focus at Shigatse, Tibet.
When I come to you during the night side of Life to give you the illumination of the Christ Consciousness as you are able to receive it, I must know as a teacher what my pupils are ready to hear. And so in a moment with the gaze of my eye and the power of the Holy Spirit, I am able to discern what facets of the mind sparkle as diamonds glistening in the Light of true illumination and what facets of the mind are still dulled by the substance of the moon.
I am also made aware of those facets of consciousness where there is no Light at all, where there has not even been an examination of higher Truth. And of late, as I have examined the disciples who have come to the Royal Teton for their instructions, I have observed one fault which I would like to call to your attention, which I am certain you will correct if you but know what that fault is and then how to correct it.
It is a lack of organization on the part of the students as they approach the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood. A lack of organization of time, first of all, in which to study, and then in studying, a lack of organization of the principles that are released.
I would encourage you, then, to set aside a time each day for reading and for study. I would also encourage you to outline your studies, to make note of necessary points which you realize are lacking in your own comprehension or those specifics which you desire to apply.
It is not enough to listen to dictations or even to ponder the words of the Masters if you cannot fit the teaching of the Law within the framework of the higher vision, the scope of the Ascended Master's own consciousness when he gave that instruction. Therefore when you hear a dictation, you are just beginning. Then you must determine why that dictation was given at a particular time according to the cycles of the year, the cycles of birth, the cycles of mankind's karma, and what the energy release, the potential of that energy as well as the instruction, is calculated to do to avert the precipitation of those karmic cycles, both individually and on a planetary scale.
I urge you then to become wiser in your studies, to not take for granted that because you have heard the Master speak your ascension is secure or your election and your calling are sure. You must strive to make them sure each day. Your systematic study of the Law will give you at any moment, at any hour the opportunity to help others to understand the Law. And how can I put the words in your mouths that you should give to others if the ideas are not first within your mind and heart? And how will the ideas be anchored in your outer consciousness unless you yourself by application place them there?
And so there is a need in this second eleven-year cycle that is now beginning in the fulfillment of the divine plan of The Summit Lighthouse activity for students and staff members to concentrate on illumination's flame, to become walking, living encyclopedias of the wisdom of the Law. When you thus have in your consciousness the precepts that have been given, more can be added unto you; but if you fail to multiply these talents, then that which you have must be taken from you. This is the Law. It is impersonal; and because it is impersonal, you cannot expect to be exempted from it simply because you consider yourselves to be the called and the elect.
It may come to pass that an Ascended Master may intercede for you that mercy might be granted for a time for you to be given more illumination; but the time must come if you fail to use it that it is cut off from you. And when I say use it, I mean put it into practice. Demonstrate the Law in your daily lives, in your conversation, in your actions, in your speech, in your walk, in your movements. So let grace abound, the grace of the only begotten Son of the Father, the grace of the Holy Spirit.
