Vol. 9 No. 51 - Beloved Archangel Gabriel - December 18, 1966

The unspeakable serenity of God, the calm light that floods the midnight sky with hope, is the joy of the angelic hosts. With the advent of each new season, myriad hands of men are extended toward new hope, defending themselves and the faithful against the tirades of human viciousness and denial, pointed out so clearly in the episode of the innkeeper who, when approached by Joseph, could find neither in his heart, nor in his inn, a place for the infant Messiah.

Our acclamation made to Mary penetrates the world today and is intended as an accolade to every mother, in order that she may recognize the quickening of that which is within herself as the son of God. There is room aplenty in the universal heart for those who find no game of charades in the majestic auras of the universe, but rather a definitive law of infinite love which floods forth, not only from the heart of an archangel, but also from all of the cosmic beings and angels, even to the tiny cherubs who surround with majesty every ascending soul - at any state of its evolution - when the heart will open wide the doors thereof to invite and welcome the angelic hosts to assistive communion.

It is seldom realized by mankind that we long to serve, but where there is no faith in our existence or in the love which we bear to mankind, there is a fence erected there that prevents the answer to your prayer. See and witness for yourself, then, that in the drama of the Annunciation there is a recognition of the light rays pouring forth from the very citadel of God's heart to form and quicken the souls of men -

That their souls are not quickened
Is not the fault of the Divine Ideation
But it is the fault of man's failure
In response to the cosmic adoration -
Acknowledgment, and blessing of the angelic hosts
As well as the shepherd kings
Who watch their spiritual flocks by night
Serving, from the ascended masters' octaves,
Donors of cosmic immensities,
Released with the power and fury of heaven's intensities,
Compressing the completion of the drama old
That shows not glamour or glitter but the gold
Of celestial fires of wisdom's mold.

At our level, there is a continual release
Of the benign into the world of form,
But compassion must be held by man
For the efforts of the cosmic ones:
And recognition must be paid
To the efforts we have made
Else far, far away
Seems the gleam from heaven's shore
As it peers through mortal density
Denying man forevermore, forevermore.

There is no intent, I say to mankind
To hold you either bound or blind
For freedom is the hope each hour
That chimes from heaven's holy tower
The prayer for purity blazes through
In star, in firmament, in you:
It speaks of doctrine, elders spew1-
To all that composes mortal will -
And shows that in beginning time
The mighty mystery all sublime
Was caught within the Father's heart
And threaded Matter from the start,
To weave upon the looms of light
The substance of immortal life,
The garments men may wear and share
Of joy and blessedness right where
I AM the flame appearing bright
To flash forth through the night
And form a star right where you are:
Behold I make all things right!

Gracious men and women of the planet Earth,
There is no service we can render unto you
Which we are unwilling to do.
There is only the need to reinforce
Within your hearts with Godspeed
Acceptance of the heavenly message,
Filling mankind's need.

When the message of the Christ
Was received by Mary,
And when there flashed forth
Across the hill country of Judea
The inspiration of the Magnificat,
It was a chant, God-inspired
Charged with the holy fire of the elder race
Which kept them filled with God-desire,
The will to keep his pace.

In the "elder days of art," then,
It came to pass that men
Paid heed to the dictums of heaven
And the angelic hosts communed
Face to face with unascended men
Helping them to work out their destiny
And be released victoriously
From the octaves of mortality
To the immortal grace and stature
Of the living God.

Let me hasten to expand within mankind
The one sincere thought
That is greatest in its pertinence
To mankind's need at any hour:
God hath wrought all things
And as he designed and purposed man,
It was to convey the complete fullness of his plan
The kingship of complete enjoyment,
Happiness, virtue, and trust in the plan
To which man must hold fast
Without fail -

For through the glimmering gloom of error's strands
There gleams a holy light throughout all lands -
It is the Christ, the Son, the Holy One,
Appearing as a man
Clothed with the Sun of righteousness,
Whose healing floods all worlds.
He plants his banner as a majestic God
And raises up in righteousness
The blessed law he trod -
By love's obedience.
In this day, when the straight and narrow path
Has been perverted by the blast
Of error's stupid sound
It seems to men alas
That God's law does not abound
With the happiness they seek,
And thus they reek
With stench of foul anthropomorphism -
A god made in their image -
And know not the beauty of the Law
That cries, "It is finished!"
To the shadowed self,
And raises out of darkened substance
The living star of victory.

I AM Gabriel from out the Sun
I acclaim to everyone
To search the firmament of their being
That there the selfsame star
They must be seeing
Will not mar the God-intent
Of freeing all who are bound
By habit's senseless round
To shatter vain opinion's sound,
Replacing it by Christ-design magnificent.

In time, in eternity, this holy security
Will rend the veil of temple grand
Proclaiming freedom through the land
As Christ is born again in all.
Command! Command! Command!
Obedience everywhere.

     There is a meaning,
O gracious ones of Earth,
To every portion of my verse
And when understanding from the heart
O'erflows the chaliced self,
A part of God's own favorite Son
(Thyself when made ready),
My annunciation to dear Mary long ago
Will be a spark of inspiration's fire now to glow
Within the mind of each who hear and see appear
The coming Christ of every year
Who comes again to cast out fear,
To set the faltering steps aright.

     With the love and greetings
Of the seven archangels, I come
And as I return to the sky
To join angelic choirs from on high,
Oh know, each one
Whose hearts are set aglow
That I AM always nigh.

In memory of the Lord Christ, I remain,

ARCHANGEL GABRIEL
