Vol. 9 No. 10 - Beloved Archangel Michael - March 6, 1966

I speak to men and women caught in the delusory web of time and circumstance. Gods in the making are you, though your feet and hands, like four-footed beasts, are often upon the ground and you do not see the power of faith in action. Men are content to repose in the masterful energy of the Godhead, knowing that in the battle between light and darkness, light will triumph. Let the horns of Victory peal forth a triumphant note, and let all who can stand, face, and conquer, who believe the words, "I AM thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward," understand the meaning of faith and how it is generated.

It is enough to recall that purity of motive is a mighty requisite in the calling forth of faith. Countless among mankind selfishly seek ends within themselves, denying the total purposes of life, thereby depriving themselves of the fruits of victory. Their expectations of fulfillment are often embodied in petitions made to the Deity; if these were all granted, they would eventuate in thorns on the pathway which would one day pierce their hearts and cause them great pain and suffering. In the great mercy of the law of life, God seeks to prevent these negative manifestations, and tenderly guide the petitioner into a more worthy desire. Thus character is molded and faith is developed by submission to the will of God and the desire to know it.

There must never be a careless drift whereby the individual not only desires God to make his choices for him, but also expects the Most High to carry them out. In the name of divine reason, ladies and gentlemen of faith and men of goodwill, understand that God has given individuality unto you in order to enable you to think and act for yourselves. This does not mean that you cannot implore the Divine One to make his will known, nor does it mean that you cannot ask for his loving assistance so readily given.

To lean upon the arm of the Lord does not mean to make of it a crutch, but to enter into a partnership whereby patterns, as they are found, inspire the individual to execute artistically new spirals of thought in keeping with the divine ideals. Individual action, where holy zeal is rightfully tempered by divine wisdom and grace, makes of man a God in action. No desecration is to be found in the right employment of faith, but only the exhilarating thought of perfection in paradise.

The revelatory glimpses of John the Beloved are scarcely understood save by the few. The exposal of emotional ills of mind and being, projected against the seekers draw parallels in Pilgrim's Progress and Dante's Inferno. Yet, a world steeped in dogma will often reject progressive revelation and the voice of God speaking in all ages through holy prophets.

I AM an advocate of faith. This faith must be versed in God and his universal desire for perfection. Beauty and radiant life - the desire which he has permitted to permeate the universe and which is the fullness of his first gracious manifestation - imparts to man, as birthright, the selfsame privileges enjoyed by God himself. God is very near in the thought of faith which pervades the idea of reward for right action. Theologians of the world, in their contemplations, have often pondered the existence of good and evil. Those who are orientated to the highest path understand only the existence of the total permeation of good. They seek to dip in the ocean of its majesty with the cup of their consciousness, and to fill that consciousness with this good which I AM.

Faith is, indeed, "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" as yet. But it will never be denied by Holy Writ or by cosmic truth, written in letters of fire, that this substance is perceived by those who pursue the Path further along the way. The reality of an ardent faith, translated and made manifest, transforms man from lesser images unto greater. When the predominant manifestation is God-orientation, there is a natural sloughing off of the elements of earth as transmutation's fires, invoked by God-command, uttered within the mind and being of an individualized soul, are called into action. Faith mounts up and transmutation increases. Thus the influence of old energy patterns which emerge from the psyche of man, out of the elements of his confusion and darkness, is mitigated and finally overcome.

The power of faith constructs from the dead ashes of the phoenix, not a trace, a mere atom of human imagination, but a tangible, manifest, living reality that has the potential to frame its own world. You are not dust and ashes. You are not mortal substance, mechanistic social beings, but in the great, cheerful heart of reality, you are becoming like unto God.

You can never deny the power of faith and win. You must take the first step and all subsequent steps required until your aloneness becomes "all oneness." One of the greatest assists that any lifestream can ever have or develop is awareness of the invisible One, the Lord Christ, the beloved Saint Germain, the revered Holy Mother Mary, and the blessed angels who every day assist mankind in countless ways, of which they are scarcely aware. Through developing faith in our ministration, you are able to intensify our pattern until our reality becomes your own, and we are able to know you as you really are, as God created you.

In this faith of our knowing, as you accept the image of immortality and victory, you become like us, for you also see us as we are. Countless millions mock and scoff, knowing not what they do, accepting the reality of the senses and rejecting the great matrices of scientific God-perfection that have made form and substance possible of manifestation.

Be not afraid, the archangels and the angels, the great cosmic beings, the Lords of Life, and your own divine soul stand as a pillar of fire in the night and a cloud of witness by day. In your moments of upliftment and the unfortunate moments of doubtings and meanderings, the Star of the Presence is ever above you.

Faith holds you in the hands of God. Expand the faith! Expand the faith! Expand the faith! for right where you are, I AM.

Grace, peace, and blessings be multiplied in your mounting faith in the goodness of Almighty God.
