Gracious Seekers for Light and Truth:
The challenges of these times ought to exalt man's strivings out of the pitfalls of human error and into the dawning Light of Truth. There is a certain tie, of course, to the world order of things, so that the mass consciousness can scarcely rise above its own level. Those torchbearers of progress who do succeed in so doing are often ostracized, criticized and crucified even by those who seem to seek identical goals. It would be well, then, if all would look within themselves, as Beloved Djwal Kul recommended last week, in order to ascertain whether or not the advent of Truth, reflected into your Being by your own Divine Presence, is receiving proper nourishment and attention from your conscious being. Man's Consciousness is intended to become the repository of Divine Grace and Knowledge and; therefore, it ought to be a treasurehouse from whence he may at any moment draw the specific and necessary information which will enable him to overcome error and render that assistance to mankind which shall be "for the healing of the nations."
The net of competition is to be found in manifestation everywhere in the religious societies of the world. It is a sad thing that the use of hypnosis in the pulpit and various other modes of control of the human mind, designed to attract the children of men to the personality of the religious leaders, is very prevalent today. Now, it is never the intention of The Great White Brotherhood or The Great White Lodge to found a cult rooted in human personality; but rather is it the Will of God to uphold the Principles of Truth that have within themselves the inherent power to deliver men from the spoilers.
Now, in the Name of Reason and Justice, Blessed Ones, let Me point out that, in the main, individuals are unconscious of the fact that they are in the toils of those who would manipulate them to their own selfish uses. Many of the religious leaders of the world are not even aware that their purposes are selfish and grasping, desiring not so much to capture mankind for the Holy Principles of God and the use of the Sword of Righteousness but to captivate men to their own brand of theology and a personal contract which will afford them a living.
Let Me make clear that long ago when embodied as St. Paul, I cited the Law of Moses to Timothy and the Church at Corinth defending the worth of they who sincerely labor for the Lord, "Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn" (Deuteronomy 25:4; I Corinthians 9:9; I Timothy 5:18). To this day it has never been Our intent to see those sincere individuals who dedicate themselves to God without substance and the wherewithal to carry on their work - and that in a most glorious manner; but this does not mean that those who are themselves deceived, abiding in an imperfect ethic, and who seek, either in a knowledge or in ignorance, to deceive, have power over the minds of the Children of Light and Freedom; for We would ever direct Our chelas to that pinnacle of Cosmic Purity and Principle which is in their own God Presence, in the fulness of all Cosmic Reality.
Humility and simplicity of nature has sometimes made men pawns for men wiser in the way of mammon and the manipulation of mental substance. "For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of Light" (Luke 16:8). In the Holy Name of Truth, then, We would set all such captives free - most especially those who desire to render a true service to the Great Ones in this Day of Great Necessity. If the Harvest of God is to be gathered into the barns and storehouses of God, Holy Truth must be given rightful preeminence in all things; and those organizations and individuals who stand for Righteousness and Sincerity, whose every thought is one of Dedication and Freedom for mankind, must receive through the great thread of Cosmic Unity the fullest measure of acclamation - not for personality's sake, but for the sake of the Holy Principles upon which they stand.
You have heard it said, "Dare to be a Daniel," referencing the magnificent courage of the prophet Daniel, who prayed each day, regardless of the edict of the king (Daniel 6). There is no power that ought to have dominion over man's Freedom to express in dignity his intense inner zeal and love for God; those who would decree and call forth Energy from On High, forming matrices of Divine Love which later become filled with Angelic Substance to purify the planet and its people, must be recognized as exercising their own free will and given a just recognition for their diligence.
Remember, Blessed Ones, it is not an easy thing to stand against the weight of mankind's opinion; for although you may know that if the inner Truth of all were to be revealed, these individuals who unwittingly oppose the Light would themselves give you support, still their present state of consciousness does imprison energy in a matrix of opposition to that which you hold dear!
When the Great Master Jesus on Good Friday commended His spirit to God and darkness covered the land, it was an outpicturing in Nature of the frightful elements of materialism which confused and clouded the very issues He sought to reveal. The Blessings of the Beatitudes and His Sermon on the Mount, His magnificent exposition entitled, "The Lord's Prayer," and His marvelous employment of the gift of Healing, were all used by Him to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven. But men preferred the entrenched regime of Caesar and the religious influences already established to the progressive teachings of the Great Master. And the cruelties practiced against the early Christians in the form of the most ungodly persecutions were the result.
The battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16) is now upon the world, and it is one of spiritual forces in high places - "of principalities and powers" (Ephesians 6:12) - manifesting in the guise of servants of God in orders of apparent righteousness, whereas they continuously dabble in all forms of hypnosis, psychic instigation, and psychic control of other men's lives (who, having a lesser understanding of the facts governing life, are vulnerable to these onslaughts). Students of the Light should mark well, then, that there are three distinct forces at work in the world today:
One of these forces is dialectical materialism, the official philosophy of the Communist world; however, all forms of atheism and of materialism fall under this regime - either knowingly or unknowingly. Ethics in business and government have been replaced by means to the profit end, so that the youth of the world for many years now have been bombarded by a most sinister and well-directed program to accentuate the baser aspects of the sex force in man. One of the purposes of such action is, of course, the undermining of the American society, for the masters in the Kremlin know well that Ancient Rome and other civilizations did fall because of the demoralization and decay of their youth, who at a very early age entered into all forms of corrupt dalliance.
The second force that functions in the world today in a negative way is the establishment of false religious activities by those who knowingly or unknowingly practice to deceive mankind and mix and blend truth and error in a compound of their own creation, cloaking the whole in a semblance of virtue and using every form of control to divert mankind to their own ends in the Name of Righteousness.
The third force at work is benign and constitutes the entire aspect of Our world servers who, in honesty and sincerity of purpose, would elevate the Cause of The Christ as first and foremost in Man - and whose every wish is to serve the Cause of Hierarchy and the Great Ascended Masters, in order to free mankind from all of their involvements with the outer personality which has never brought them Freedom even through all the years of the past. The forces of Truth and Justice and true Spiritual Power, then, are caught between a godless communism and a pseudo religous force mightily entrenched in the world, which runs the gamut all the way from the ordinary "teller of fortunes" to the most highly respected religious organizations on Earth.
In the midst of all of this turmoil and world confusion, as a cork upon the waves, man is asked to stabilize himself and find the Truth that is within his Being. And this is Highest Truth, for only by forsaking the cult of personality and turning to God alone can men be free. Psychology and psychiatry do have their place in the examination of mental diseases, but when the spirit of man is allowed (hallowed) to become One with God, a healing of every breach is instantly possible! Those who would drag you back into the dark ages of your own past history to carelessly parade before you every evil embodiment - even though they be abundantly sprinkled with good actions - would often draw you down into the vortex of personality concern. This action is one of human bondage and results in a multitude of frustrations which do not produce the balm of happiness.
Let honest men, as Daniel, be concerned solely with the Image of God, with His Likeness and handiwork and with that future creation of loveliness which is the externalization of the Christ Radiance of their Being. Let them make this Holy Truth their own.
