Set the Captives Free!

To You Who See Yourselves in the Self-Transcending Nature of the Deity:

I SAY IN LIBERTY'S NAME, PROCLAIMING WITH THE CHRIST, "SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!" (Isaiah 61:1,2; Luke 4:17-19)

The Lord Maha Chohan in His masterful presentation on The Holy Spirit has tarried in His releases in order for Us to bring forth what He felt was a necessary prelude to a greater demonstration of the Power of the Holy Spirit in each individual's world. The recent release of last week from Beloved Jesus carries with it a message of world-shaking import to everyone who would follow the Universal Spirit of God in the fullness of His manifestation of Divine Love.

Mankind have continued to walk as upon a razor's edge. On the one hand has been the fear of self-love and on the other the fear of universal love. Many have feared both. They have feared self-love as though it were a disease to tear them from their heritage of Divinity. They have feared Divine Love as though its very fiery intensity would tear them from the heart of their own personal identity. As men walk this razor's edge, it appears to split or hold these considered opposites in perfect balance. And yet, mankind have felt the sharp and cutting edge of the unreal, for the spear of delusion has been thrust into their own beings by this wrong concept.

Blessed Ones, as We proclaim the Freedom of every captive, We must not and cannot deny the fact that, just as there is the absolute Reality of God, so there is the concrete manifestation of temporality, of the changing individuality. These operate on different planes. The absoluteness of God holds within it a transcendentalism which causes even the Godhead to transcend Himself.

Now, the reflection of this self-transcending Nature of the Deity in the lesser state of the manifestation of Man is clearly shown in Man's eternal desire to progress. It is never necessary, then, if the heart be honest and the motive pure, for individuals to decry or fear their own personal progress if they will realize that all progress tethered to Reality must be based on the Great Source Consciousness of their own innate Divinity. The giving of the Glory to God enables them to continue to progress in unabated fashion without any regret or illusion. Such progress does not exalt itself above its fellowmen or cause the expanding monad to feel exalted in the universe; but rather, does it crown the head of the aspirant with the laurel wreath of perennial service, as God intends.

Blessed Jesus, in His Galilean embodiment, said, "The Father worketh hitherto and I work" (John 5:17). Thus it must be understood that at all levels of consciousness, from the lowest unto the highest, the principle of service is extolled. True service is achievement. It is the movement of Light into the manifestation of greater Light. Only in stultification, in sloth, in indolence, in unwillingness to participate in the great Cosmic Drama, do men lack lustre and brilliance. The soul of every man must utter, then, its emancipation proclamation to no longer be shattered upon the millstone of consecration to a dead ego, but rather to be enshrined in progressive manifestation without fear upon the Altar of God - the place where God is in manifestation and is recognized and honored. For "perfect Love casteth out fear" (I John 4:18) in those who in shame fear to utter the Name of God and thereby extinguish the Flame of their own Divine Reality.

The ideas men hold for themselves could be frightening, if We would permit Ourselves to tremble; but all darkness and delusion lacks the crystal Purity of the Mind of God. Only by casting out the demons of man's own creation and the creations of the hordes of darkness can men see clearly, through the wondrous orbs of spiritual vision and perception, the Glories which the Father hath prepared for them who truly Love Him (I Corinthians 2:9-11).

I proclaim, then, this day and I say in Liberty's Name, SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! Let the world hold high her torch of Destiny, based not upon the mere cycling of energy in a void but upon the purposeful release of Immortality into the Chalice of temporal manifestation, that out of that may come the refined Golden Man.

     In Liberty's Name I AM

The Goddess of Liberty
