The Illumination, Beloved Chelas, is more than just a flow of knowledge or precepts into the minds or hearts of men. It is the application of that Gnosis, Light and Grace to understanding action and Brotherhood! To know and still not to do is far more gross than to merely be ignorant; yet the impetus of Divine Love continually spurs mankind on both to know and to do.
While the vagaries of men's carnal nature play upon the screen of life with a will-o'-the-wisp action, resembling a display of the aurora borealis and entertaining the human mind with a constant inconstancy of earthly expression, "I AM" certain that the devout and eternal Mercy of God awaits the awakening of man to the Truth of his internally magnificent Divine Nature.
Here in Our Citadel of Friendship and Good Will at Darjeeling, the Brotherhood gathers around shining council tables whose polished surfaces reflect the benign countenances of those whom I shall call the world's truly great. Illustrious men are these, playing and destined to play major roles in freeing mankind from every human misery. These God-ordained deliverers are veritable inspirers of all those leaders of governments and heads of state whose constructive natures invite them to pray in preference to preying upon the already overly chastised souls of men.
Would to God the faces mirrored in Our splendid shining table tops could be made visible to men and women who possess the power to read physiognomy accurately! "I AM" certain, then, that a multitude of individuals would have their very hearts moved to respond even more diligently to Our call for more action, more light, and more understanding in all types of human relationships. "I AM" daily moved by these blessed Beings who assemble here. I do not tire of perceiving in their eyes the Light of God that does not fail, shining in a more perfect way through the light rays of their Love tangibly rayed out unto the ends of the Earth. I do not cease to rejoice in the thoughts of their hearts and the ideas of their minds which seek constantly to illumine every human problem, to alleviate each distress, and to exalt the world, the individual, and the Earth into the fullness of all God intends each one to be.
Illumination must be approached with care, for it is well known that when a moth approaches the flame too closely, its singed wings further hinder its safety in aerial navigation. Those who would approach the Flame of Divine Illumination ought to do so with gratitude for the privilege of becoming auditors of Our words, thoughts, and expressions which are specifically designed to meet the requirements of the hour. Let none study them merely for the sake of intellectual blandishments, but let all welcome the Opportunity which Our present instruction is conferring upon the children of the Earth: namely, the choice role of acting the part of a Living Christ.
The ministries of service to men, even the descent of avatars, are not governed by stereotypes, although men have frequently created set images of how a Master should look. Remember that the individual is always privileged to express Christhood in the fullness of Godly Illumination without in any way resembling a previous avatar as to the outer mode of expression or appearance.
Each precious manifestation of The Christ in man holds the unique privilege of selfhood as a magnificent, divergent expression of God in manifold form. As the Psalmist declared, "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me" (Ps. 139:7-10). To permit full Freedom to another is to welcome God in many disguises and brings the one so doing the blessing of an outpoured anointing which God has given into the keeping of another devotee of His unfailing Light.
Many do not know that everyone upon Earth who is a Son of God and all in whom is resident the Spirit of Life possess the ability of conferring a blessing which can be a mighty assistance to the recipient. Men prefer to think themselves sufficient unto themselves. It is such ignorance that We would banish in order to shed upon all the fullness of the multiplied and still multiplying graces of Heaven as rayed out through the wondrous Divinity of each lifestream. Such appreciation as I have noted is valedictory!
So many have become careless in their regard of others that they flaunt their brothers and sisters to one side, toppling thereby their own towers of common reason and erecting in place thereof an idol of self worship on every hill of a defrauding Babel. God in everyone is the conferring Potentate, yet those so unfortunate as to deny Him banish themselves from the courts of Reality.
Our message of Understanding on Illumination and Illumined Brotherhood is intended to bestow upon all the priceless gift of knowing how to mine the gold that is within other children of the Sun with whom you come in contact. Barren indeed would be the people of Earth without the continual flow of ships that ply the marts of commerce, bearing the rare spices, herbs, ornaments and products of one continent to another. How necessary, then, is the commodity of Understanding; how necessary that nations should establish schools in which degrees in Brotherhood are awarded as the result of classic study!
How shall the world ever attain Unity and Compassioned Peace if Understanding does not become magnified by those who cherish Brotherhood enough to sacrifice, if necessary, some portion of their own selfhood in order to externalize among men a required facet that will make up the central theme of Illumined Understanding in action. Life understood is more easily lived. Man when understood is more easily loved with relish; God when understood is the elevation of Self.
Caught up on clouds of Glory, men find it difficult to recall the struggle to achieve. Let them now summon the energy to overcome the presently seeming barren life saturated with the sole element of self consciousness. Let them plunge rather into the sea of humanity and swim with the lifeline of Brotherhood in tow so that all nations may excel in understanding One another even as do all people.
The zeal of the Lord covers the Earth, blessing attuned minds with Illumined Brotherhood in expressed action.
Cradling the whole of civilization within My Consciousness, I continue to hold the Immaculate Concept for all. Let none think this is either vague or unrealistic, for Truth endures and God's Will is true Divine Love in action.
If any panacea exists for the healing of international ills, that panacea exists in the Hearts of Heaven. If any transforming action is to be established upon Earth, that action will be in the transferring of Heaven's understanding concepts to the Earth.
I urge that each one participating in attunement with Us throughout this week act as a focus of Healing Love to expand the Light of Illumined Brotherhood throughout the Earth. This Light must become for each one a Beacon of surrounding Love whose Light Rays, in emulation of Our own Love, tangibly pour forth the breath of renewing, resurrecting, flaming Compassion in determined action.
"I AM" amplifying the Power of Light upon Earth, stepping up the action of Illumination by the Power of Heaven's own Heart and sealing all Life within the Flame of My own thoughts of Unity.
