Cultures vary as do philosophical and religious viewpoints among the unascended. Now, an interesting one is the traditional Oriental custom practiced in some countries of the Far East where groups come together to mourn and weep at the birth of a child, and gather to laugh and rejoice at the change called death, which they see as liberation from suffering. Obviously, life which is God was never intended to be in any wise unhappy, and so it would never be except for violations of cosmic or universal Law by unascended beings dwelling in the appearance world.
Now, the Law always acts wholly impartially despite appearances to the contrary, and, I would add, is usually most merciful. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy - one of the Beatitudes of blessed Jesus, our brother. Be it so, perfect balance is the divine expression and declares it unwise to weep at either life's beginning or when the last chapter is written. After all, God's Book of life is itself an everlasting one. In his transmuting abilities, in our faith in the light and the author of existence and joyfulness, let us ever rejoice!
I am sure you think me well qualified to know something of the sufferings experienced by human consciousness. Embodied in many places as I was before my ascension, I know from personal experience almost the whole span of mundane life, geographical, political, and religious - from the teeming land of the mystic East with its ceaseless struggles, its changing but very ancient culture, to the more active (at times mechanical, yet considered hectic by many) life of the Occident.
It becomes a personal misfortune when any lifestream does not see the beauty of life's daily opportunities which are often hidden, even as a very narrow mountain pass behind which lies a magnificent divine future. Men often shun life and seek to escape its seeming ceaseless struggles, feeling that such questionable escape would give them liberation. Now, we know this is never true, for the mere shuffling off of this mortal form imparts no virtue to anyone that they did not already possess.
So, do you see, the grace and goodness of God must be consciously called forth directly from your own Presence and lived in the alchemy of life right here and now! You win your victory here, and age or innocence, youth or wisdom, strength or weakness, lack or abundance have nothing to do with that! Is not God the supply of everything good and gracious? Is anything impossible to the Presence of God I AM? You can and must win your victory here where we obtained ours, conquering fear through the power of love! I say and I know his grace is sufficient for thee as for me it was!
May I correct any feeling in your thinking pertaining to the action of karma upon all who vacate the body temple. As before stated, all life is God. Consciousness is an ever-flowing stream coming directly from the Source and Presence of God through your own Higher Mental Body and is the life of God rushing in all its sparkling purity down that lovely silver cord which it composes to where it bestows upon you, among other qualities, the gift of self-awareness by which all other things are made knowledgeable to you. Now, the purposes of the Father are identical insofar as opportunity or intent, and he respects no human personality above another, imparting grace to all forever. Each one is intended to be a full expression of the unfailing Light of God - a sun of the Presence. One of the gifts of the Presence is the use of divine wisdom, which was intended to speak through the human intellect (in-telling of knowledge and truth). It became a dangerous thing when individuals concentrated solely on the power vested in them as the right to choose and lost sight of the responsibility to choose the right! So, subtle shadows obscured the plan which God is still daily revealing as his will to those whose ears long to hear, and whose eyes yearn to see in true humility (honoring the Presence as the doer), the glory (glow-ray) which shines from above!
Whenever energy is misused by the mass mind of mankind it creates by universal Law a record in the astral realm (that closest to earth) where it is fed daily by all the discordant feelings and wrong thinking of men on earth. It is easy to see that this composes a rather extensive and poisonous residue which adversely affects all who contact it. It can be a trap to those who possess undue human obstinacy, for when these pass from the body they sometimes refuse the help offered by the angels and the helpers of the Christ and are then left face to face with the unhappy effects and causes of their own human creation remaining untransmuted, and sometimes, too, portions of the mass creation until such a time as they accept the guidance of divine beings sent in mercy, or the residue they have created dissipates by natural law.
Now, the services rendered by Saint Germain's legions of Light have, it is true, relieved so much of this pressure that seldom do individuals remain long in this atmosphere. For this we thank the student body whose calls will, we know, give us the authority to act and seek the complete removal of all discord until the earth is wholly free. The advanced and careful student will see here an explanation of Jesus' parable concerning the rich man and Lazarus and the gulf fixed between them. Surely you know that God could not or would not himself create any place of torture to harm any part of life either in the appearance world or beyond it. His creation is all glory, and it is but human effects from which you must escape in the ultimate goal of your own ascension and the full divine freedom it brings.
Yield not one particle of your energy to fear. Did not God say perfect love casts out all fear? Would it not then be most wise to accept that perfect love which desires only good for each part of himself which was sent forth in love that it might return home to him in love? Right now, today, I am lifting all who will accept it to our level of consciousness where you may contact the angels of the Resurrection Flame and the Ascension Flame, changing even your physical appearance and giving you entrance, while your physical bodies sleep, into those temples and schools of beauty where face to face you can behold the Light and love which we are, acting to prepare each one of you for a closer association with the ascended host and conferring our blessing even upon your loved ones - the blessed freedom and protection of Light and its goal, the ever wonderful, ever transcendent, yet untold wonders of all eternity with the Presence of God which I AM daily revealing.
